Exactly, the 360 has one of the consistantly highest attach-rates in gaming history, I very much doubt theyre going to flush it down the pan anytime soon.

Well Maybe Microsoft decides that they want to capture the Japanese & European gaming market also, they bring out a new console early to do that and dump the 360 because outside of America no one cares about the 360.

Erm, hasn't the 360 outsold the PS3 in all the major markets, except Japan ? I think so.

America is now the largest gaming market in the world, they aren't going to pull a console and it's entire library because it isn't selling as much in smaller markets.

Granted, the 360 was out a year before the PS3, but that isn't really an excuse considering Sony bought the delay onto themselves, it also doesn't detract from the fact that 360 software sales completely obliterate PS3 software sales in EVERY market, bar Japan.
