My game review of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

Hi guys. At around 6:30 this morning, I made a review to the game Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, which is the sequel to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Check it out and see what you think.

I have plans on redoing many of my old reviews because some of them are really biased, short and I acted like a fanboy in some of my reviews. Reviews I'm planning on changing:

  • Jak and Daxter 1-3
  • Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
  • Medal of Honor Frontline
  • Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
  • Tekken 5

I have 2 more games that I haven't reviewed yet and they are Dark Cloud 2 and Shadow Hearts: Covenant (fun, fun game).

That's all for today. See you later.

Bam's anime reviews: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is a 1984 anime flim that was made by Hayao Miyazaki, who was responsible for other classic animes like Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle. This was also the very first flim that was made by Studio Ghibli. The anime tells the story of Nausicaa, who is the young princess of the valley she lives in called The Valley of the Wind. She encounters a cargo airship one night and tries to rescue a hand-cuffed girl, who appears to be Princess Lastelle, the princess of the kingdom Pejite. She also informed Nausicaa to destroy all the cargo that is on the ship. But Lastelle died and Nausicaa finds out that the airship is from Tolmekia and the cargo that the airship was carrying is actually a giant, lethal biological weapon called The Giant Warrior. The next days, the Tolmekians, who are under controlled by Princess Kushana, invade the Valley to kill Nausicaa's father, who is the king of the valley, and secure and revive the warrior. Kushana wants the warrior to destroy the Sea of Decay. The Sea of Decay is a toxic jungle that includes giant plants and fungi with giant insect creatures. The majority of the insects are these gigantic armoured caterpiller type creatures called the Ohmu.

Now the Ohmu are very special in the movie. Whenever you see their eyes turn blue, they are very calm creatures. But if you take any action or you steal something from them, they're eyes will turn red and will attack you. Nausicaa knows that its bad news because the Ohmu will attack anyone or anything, unless if there's a way to calm them down. so, Nausicaa is on a mission to stop the Tolmekians for starting a fight between them and the Ohmu. For a movie that was done by Hayao Miyazaki, this movie has a very well done story. It really explains itself very well and it never brings you any state of being confussed at all. The story is told pretty simple and it is pretty good.

The characters are all great in this movie. Nausicaa is very peace-loving, humane and she is a pretty skilled fighter. Lord Yupa is Nausicaa's mentor and a samurai type fighter. He's not like your typical-looking samurai. He's just a fighter that has the skills of an actual samurai. I think Kushana is pretty good. I like Kurotowa and the same goes for Mito and Asbel are pretty good characters. They are portrayed rather well, just like in many Hayao Miyazaki flims.

The artstyle looks pretty good in this movie and the animation is nicely well done in this movie. There are never times where the animation never gets messed up or anything. So, I think the animation is pretty good. This movie has been dubbed by Walt Disney Pictures in 2005 and the english voice acting is great. Nausicaa is voiced by Alison Lohman, who you might know her if you seen flims like Matchstick Men, Big Fish and Flicka. And she does a pretty good job at voicing her character. She is joined by a pretty amazing cast of actors. A lot of memorable names on here. There's Patrick Stewart, Uma Thurman, Chris Sarandon (who was responsible for voicing Jack Skellington in Nightmare Before Christmas), Edward James Olmos and Shia Labeouf. You'll also encounter actors that aren't really big in the celebrity world, but are well known in certain cartoons. Those actors include James Arnold Taylor, Jodi Benson, Frank Welker, Mark Hamill, Jeff Bennett and Tress MacNeille, who is known as Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons, Dot from Animaniacs, Daisy Duck and Agnes Skinner, who is Principal Seymour Skinner's mother in The Simpsons. So, the english voice work is really well done.

The music consists of standard orchestral songs and some techno beats added in for good measure. It's weird hearing techno in a movie from Hayao Miyazaki because you don't normally hear music like that in his other flims after Nausicaa. But givin the fact that this movie was made in the mid 80's, that decade had a lot of techno beats in their pop music, their new wave music, hip-hop and others. So, it's kinda understandable to have something like that in this movie. So, the music is pretty good.

In the end, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is an awesome movie. It definitely captures the feel of what a movie from Miyazaki, just like all the other movies that was made after this one. With a great story, good characters, nice music and terrific english voice acting, Nausicaa is a very entertaining movie to watch. If you are a fan of Hayao Miyazaki's work or love movies from Studio Ghibli, then check out Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. It's really a movie that you will never feel disappointed.

Bam's anime reviews: Akira

Akira is a classic anime flim released in 1988 by Katsuhiro Otomo, the same person that was responsible for the manga. The movie starts off when Tokyo was destroyed on July 16, 1988 by some mysterious explosion. And 31 years later, Tokyo was rebuilted and was called Neo Tokyo. One night, a gang of teenage bikers called the Capsules, who was led by a 16 year old guy named Kaneda, were in a motorcycle chase and fight against a gang called the Clowns, until Kaneda's friend, Tetsuo, ran over a very unusual young boy. But as soon as Kaneda and the gang arrived where Tetsuo was, Tetsuo and the boy were takin by a group of soldiers that were sent by The Colonel. So, The Colonel brought Tetsuo with them and Tetsuo has been gaining a lot of headaches, until he has awaken his physic powers inside him.

I'm not going to explain the rest of the movie because I did explain about half of the movie's story, I would probably spoiled the entire movie for you guys. But I can say is that the story is this anime is fantastic. Weird, but it's still fantastic, nonetheless. It's a story that hardly no other anime has ever centered on and the story is really intersting just by how it is explained. So in the end, the story is really outstanding in Akira.

The characters in this movie are great. I like Kaneda and Tetsuo a lot in this movie. Both of those guys are the main reasons on what makes this movie so fun to watch. They really do make a big impact, in terms of characters that make a big impact in the story and the actual anime itself. I did like Kei, The Colonel and The Espers in the movie also, as well as all the other characters. There is not a single character in this movie, in my opinion, that is unlikeable. All the characters are great and are portrayed very well.

The artstyle and animation really makes this anime stand out to many other animes. All the characters look extremely detailed and the way they lip-sync is incredible. The way they move their mouths is not like in many animes where they move their mouths up and down. It actually looks like they move their mouths normally like american cartoons. It really looks amazing on how it looks that way. There is no indications on where the animation gets choppy or whatever. This anime has really smooth animation.

There are 3 dubs total for Akira and I've watched the original English dub, which is called the Streamline dub. I didn't watch the japanese dub or the newer english dub, which is called the Pioneer dub. As from what I think about the original english dub, it's performed pretty good, for the exception of two people that I think sound bad in this movie. I personally think Cam Clarke, the actor that plays Kaneda, and Tony Pope, who voiced The Colonel, sound pretty bad, in my opinion. But aside from those 2, the other actors do a pretty good job in this movie. The music is really great. It's has some pretty scary and strange songs that really fits the overall theme of this anime very well.

Overall, Akira is a great classic. It's story, animation, character development and music really makes this movie really fun to watch. It's not for everyone because of it's weirdness. But if you can get past that, Akira will be a very fun and entertaining movie to watch.

Ninja Scroll is canceled, because I got disturbed by it's rough sex scenes.

Bam's anime reviews: Barefoot Gen

Barefoot Gen is an anime movie that was released in 1983. It was directed by Mori Masaki and was animated by Madhouse studios. The movie takes place in 1945 and it's set during when the Americans bombed Hiroshima and the end of World War II. The story starts with a young boy named Gen, his little brother Shinji, their father, older sister and their pregnant mother living in a home with no hardly to buy home and trying to help their mother to get healthy again from eating a lot of food because she had grown ill from malnutrition.

Gen was off to school one day, until he saw one of the american's planes and drops the atomic bomb that is plan to destroy the city of Hiroshima. Gen was scared, thinking his entire family was dead during the attack. So, he ran back to his house to see if anyone was arrive. The only surviving member of the family is his mother, but Shinji and Gen's father and sister died when they were stuck in debris that was caught on fire. So, Gen and his mother are now living in the streets, dealing with and try to find food for each of them. I really like the story in this movie. I can compared to Grave of the Fireflies becuase just like that movie, Barefoot Gen takes place in the aftermath of Japan just before the end of World War II and centers on two family members that are dealing with that kind of life. So if you are a fan of Grave of the Fireflies, then you will enjoy this movie. The movie is also pretty sad to watch. Just like Grave of the Fireflies, there are parts in this movie that will make you cry. The movie is also set up like a documentary in some ways. You will hear some guy talking about certain events of World War II that is set up in a certain part of the movie. For example, when you get to the scene where Gen sees black rain, you will hear some narrator talking about on what's responsible for the black rain and so forth. So, that's pretty cool on how it's done that way.

There really aren't that many characters in this movie. But by what's there in the movie, the characters are quite likeable. Gen is a very brave and stronghearted child in this movie. He's always helpful to his mother and he is the main reason of what makes this movie so fun to watch, in terms of characters. I didn't like Shinji all that much at first, because of how he wouldn't share a certain food to Gen. But around the middle length of the flim before the attack on Hiroshima started, I was starting to like Shinji. I did like Gen's mother, his father, his sister and even a boy in the movie by the named of Ryukio. He is kinda likeable. So, all the characters are all good. One issue I have with Gen's mother was when the scene from when she was laughing at the place where Shinji, Gen's father and sister died was odd and really out of place. Gen's mother never really told anything to Gen as to why she did that and that's why I felt that scene was so pointless. But besides that, I did like Gen's mother and same goes with the rest of the characters.

The artstyle is pretty good for an anime released in the mid 80's and the animation is quite well in this movie. Don't let the animation style fool you in this movie. Even though the artstyle looks childish, this movie is not a kids movie at all. This movie is really geared towards teenagers because of graphic images, some nudity and a few swear words. I watched this movie mostly in english and a little bit in japanese and both dubs are quite good to listen to. The music in this movie is pretty good to listen to, as well.

Overall, Barefoot Gen is a fantastic movie that many anime fans will enjoy watching. It's got a lot of moments that will either make you cry or just make you satisifying, just like on how Grave of the Fireflies. If you are a fan of Grave of the Fireflies, then this movie is definitely for you. You will really enjoy this movie's plot, characters, it's moments and it's overall atmosphere and all that will really make it a special place in your heart, if you enjoy these kinds of animes.

Bam's anime reviews: Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture

Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture is the third and final anime movie that is based on the Fatal Fury series. This movie was released in 1994 and was directed by Masami Obari. Unlike the last two movies, this movie does not follow the plot of any particular game in the series. This movie has a original plot that works extremely well in this movie. It's kinda like Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie, but better. The story starts off when one of the characters of the series, Cheng Sinzan, discovered a piece of an armour in Alexandria, Egypt that is part of the Armour of Mars. However, three powerful beings attacked Cheng, but Cheng escaped from them. Then, that was Cheng encounter the leader that the 3 beings work for, Laocorn.

We then moved to from Egypt to Japan, where we see Joe Higashi doing a celebration of his victory against Hwa Jai. Terry Bogard, his brother Andy and Mai entered the party to celebrate Joe's victory. At the same time, a girl named Sulia is being chased by Cyber men that work for Laocorn. One of the cyber men, who turns out to be Cheng, enters the party and was defeated by Kim Kaphwan. So, Sulia introduces herself to Terry, Andy, Joe and Mai and she explains on what's going on. Apparently, Sulia is Laocron's sister and both of them are linked. Laocorn is on a search to find all 6 pieces of the armour. If he finds all of them, he becomes a god. Sulia askes our 4 heroes to see if they could help Sulia to stop her brother before things go bad. The 4 fighters accepted it and were on a search to find the last 3 pieces of the armour, since Laocorn found the first 3 pieces.

This is, in my opinion, the best Fatal Fury movie ever. I think the original plot worked so well in this movie. It's not too cliche or anything. It's something new and original that hasn't been done in most animes that's based on a video game franchise. I love the story a lot and it's really one of the highlights. A couple of flaws I have with this movie is there are some fan service that gets in the way of the movie. You will see Mai's boobs giggle one or two times and there is a scene where Mai wears her panties and even seeing Joe's own underwear as a bathing suit. And also, I felt the short scene where they show Geese Howard was pretty useless because Geese doesn't play any major role in this movie. I just think that little scene of him was so pointless.

Some characters from the last 2 movies are back and there are a couple of newer ones added in for good measure. I already mentioned Terry, Andy, Joe, Mai, Geese, Hwa Jai and Kim Kaphwan as returning characters for the movie. But there are more characters that returned from the last 2 movies. Billy Kane, Duck King, Jubei Yamada, Richard Meyer and Laurence Blood also have returned to this movie. There are only 2 new people added in this move that were in the games and that's as mentioned Cheng Sinzan and Big Bear. All the characters from the games are portrayed very well, once again. I was also happy on how they changed the appearacne of Richard Meyer in this movie and made him look him on how he was in the original game, since I complained that he looked like an old man in the first movie. I like Sulia and Laocorn. I think those 2 characters are very likeable, just by how they are. So, all the characters are all great in this movie.

The artstyle of this movie looks a bit cleaner and shiner then how it was in the last 2 movies and it looks really good. The animation is also great. Nothing really special, because it's the same type of animation you have been seeing in the last 2 movies. So, it's still pretty good. Like the last 2 movies, I watch this particualr movie in english and the english voice acting is really good, once again. The voice actors that play Terry, Andy and Joe have returned in this movie. Sarah Sawatsky , the original voice actress for Mai that was in the second movie, has been replaced by Lisa Ann Beley, who did Relena Peacecraft in Gundam Wing, Chi-Chi in Dragonball Z and Cammy in the american Street Fighter cartoon. The actors that voice Geese Howard, Billy Kane, Kim Kaphwan, Laurence Blood and Jubei Yamada has also returned in this movie. Laocorn is voiced by Matt Hill, who voiced Ed in Ed, Edd and Eddy. (The first Ed, not double D.) He was also Kira Yamato in Gundam SEED and Claude C. Kenni in Star Ocean EX. The music is also really good. The ending theme, performed by canadian singer by Warren Stanyer, is really good.

In the end, Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture is an awesome movie that reallys make a good satisfying end to the trilogy. I really love the execution of the original plot of this movie and it will really keep you entertain for the entire movie. If you love the first 2 Fatal Fury movies, you'll going to love this movie. Even if you never watched any of the pervious movies, I would still suggest you check this movie out because it's really that good for a movie that's based on a video game.

Bam's anime reviews: Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle

Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle is the sequel to the first Fatal Fury movie, and based off on the the first game's sequel, Fatal Fury 2. So the movie takes after the events of the first movie. We first see Geese Howard hiding in the mountains, until he was visited by his half-brother and main villain of the movie, Wolfgang Krauser. Terry Bogard is back in this movie and was seen working at a construction site, until he was introduced by a young boy named Tony. Tony asked Terry if he would like to be Terry's pupil, but Terry refused. Terry encounters Krauser and ends up getting his ass kicked by Krauser. Krauser tells Tony to give a Terry saying to meet him in the Strorlheim Castle in Germany, which is where Krauser lives.

After being treated by Tony's mother, Terry took off and decided to become a drunk because of his loss of Krauser, thinking that he is a lot stronger then Terry himself. Joe Higashi found out about Terry's loss from Krauser and told Andy about it. So, Andy and Joe were out on a journey, along with Mai Shiranui, to face Krauser instead. Now, I'm not too impressed with the story of the movie. All it's about is Terry losses a fight from the main villain, becomes a drunkaholic, gets back into shape with a little help from Tony and Joe, learns a new technique for facing Wolfgang, beats Krauser and that's it. The story is too simple and not even too story driven then the first movie.

Terry Bogard, Andy and Joe are still portrayed as how they were in the first movie. So, if you like him in Legend of the Hungry Wolf, then you will like them in this movie. I also like Tony in this movie as well. He is not like one of those unofficial sidekick characters that comes across loud and annoying, like in some movies. But Tony is not like that at all. He is very calm and somewhat determined in this movie. Geese Howard isn't shown all well, but he's portrayed quite well. Krauser is great, in this movie. He's a villian that you really don't wanna mess with. The one minor issue I have with the appearance of Krauser was that the developers removed his mustache, which was how he looked like in the second game. I just think they could've kept in the movie.

Mai Shiranui is good in this movie. She does make you laugh in a couple of spots in the movie. Jubei Yamada, who was in the second game, also makes an appearance in this movie, along with Axel Hawk, Laurence Blood and Kim Kaphwan. I was really happy on how the developers finally gave Andy blonde hair, unlike on how he had gray hair in the first movie. I was happy on how they changed the color of Geese Howard's shirt on the karate suit that he wore in the first movie. In the first movie, he wore a black shirt, where he wore a white shirt in the first game. But at least they got the color of his pants correct. I also didn't like on how they gave Axel Hawk a shirt, while he was shirtless in the second game. Can this movie make the characters make them look exactly by how they look in the second game, instead of putting little changes on them? But that aside, most of the characters still look like from how they were in the second game.

The artstyle and animation is pretty much what you would expect. Nothing different or anything. It's pretty much the same that was from Legend of the Hungry Wolf. The only problem with the animation is in the scenes where Andy, Joe and Mai were at the airport and Tony was reunited by his mother at the end of the movie, the lights in the background were really shiny making it too hard to see Joe's and Tony's mother's mouth moving. That's the only minor problem I have with the animation.

I watched the english dub version of this move and the english voice acting is still good in a Fatal Fury movie. Mark Hildreth returns as Terry Bogard in this movie and he does a fine job at voicing the character. The actors that play Andy and Joe also returned from this movie, and they still do a fine job in this movie. The actor that plays Geese Howard, Ward Perry, is back and he still does a fine job at voicing Geese. But Ward also voices another character in the movie and that's Laurence Blood. And Ward does a good job at voicing that character. Paul Dobson, who is the guy that voiced Billy Kane in the first movie, is also back, but is now voicing the role as Krauser. Kim Kaphwan is voiced by David Kaye, who is responsible for the voices of Clank in the Ratchet & Clank games and Treize Kushrenada in Gundam Wing. And also, Jubei Yamada is voiced by French Tickner, who also did Watari in Death Note. The movie also brought back the same style of music that was in the last movie and the music still holds up good in this movie.

Overall, The New Battle might not be as good as Legend of the Hungry Wolf, mainly it's because of how the plot in this movie isn't really as deep compared to the first movie. But this movie is still worth checking out regardless. So if you love the first Fatal Fury movie to death, then check out this movie. However if you are stuck between choosing this flim and the first movie, as for what Fatal Fury movie you want to see first, I would suggest you watch the first movie over this one because the story in that movie is better.

Bam's anime reviews: Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf

Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf is a TV movie anime that is based on the first Fatal Fury video game by SNK, made in 1991. The movie was made in 1992, a year after the game's release, and was directed by Hiroshi Fukutomi. Now before I tell you my review of this movie as well as it's sequels which I will be reviewing, I need to tell you on how the Fatal Fury series got started. So, get ready for a history lesson.

Fatal Fury was the first fighting game franchise created by SNK in 1991 on their system, the SNK NeoGeo. But that wasn't the first game that SNK put into that system and nor, it didn't start off very strong when it first came out in 1990. It first started out with crappy games like Blue's Journey and Ninja Combat. So you were probably thinking that SNK was going to give up hope on their system, well think again. It all started when a company called Capcom released the classic Street Fighter II in 1991. That game change everything on how previous fighting games were like before as well as games in general. Because of the success of Street Fighter II, tons of gaming companies wanted to join the wagon of fighting games so that they could rival against Capcom. That's when Fatal Fury was born. It was successful for it's time, because it beat out a lot of the most of the terrible games that were on their system. But it still remains a cult classic to most hardcore gamers, because both the series and the system didn't really brought out to the masses, unlike other 16bit systems like the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo. But since the first game was getting a little bit of a popularity, a studio called NAS decided to make an anime version of the first game and this is where my review starts.

The movie starts off when young Terry Bogard and his brother Andy were out with their father, Jeff Bogard and their master, Tung Fu Rue. Jeff was distracted by homeless kids and a pretty flower girl named Lily, who was part of an attempt on his life by four attackers that work with the main villian of the series, Geese Howard. So, Jeff beats out 3 of those men, but one of them stabbed Jeff in the chest with a knife. So, he is confronted with Geese himself, but Jeff lost the battle and Geese ends up murdering him. Now, Tung has made a promise to both Bogards that they would become stronger men to Punish Geese in ten years. So ten years have past and we have seen Terry all grown up ( and so does Andy, but you won't encounter him until around the middle length of the flim.) Terry was on his way to a local bar in the city of Southtown, when he encounters the flower girl Lily, who was in the scene of the murder ot Terry and Andy's father. After a fight scene, Terry mets the other main character of both this movie and the first game, Joe Higashi, a champion Muay Thai kickboxer and friend and rival of Andy. Joe has arrived from Southtown to enter a tournament called the King of Fighters tournament and Terry decides to join because he feels he is going to meet Andy in the tournament. I can't give too much away from the story because I will end up spoiling the entire flim. But on how I feel about the game's plot transfered into an anime, I think it's very well done. I think it's ranked up with Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie and Street Fighter II: V, as having an anime that either sticks very well to the original plot of the actual game. The one thing I didn't like in terms of how the plot is set up in the movie, I wasn't really impressed of the final showdown between Geese and Terry at the end of the movie. It was very short and it didn't bring a lot of excitement to the final battle.

You will encounter characters in this anime that were in the first game. Besides Terry Bogard, Andy, Joe, Geese and Tung Fu Rue. You will also encounter Billy Kane, Raiden, Richard Meyer, Duck King and Hwa Jai. The main characters are portrayed very well in this movie. I have a minor issue with Andy though. The people that made this anime really messed up on his hair. He is a blonde in the first game, while he is gray in this movie. I have mixed reactions on the supporting characters that were in the first game. Their appearances in this movie are messed up, compared to how they look in the games. For example, Duck King wears a yellow basketball shirt with purple baggy pants and has a yellow afro in the first game. In the anime version however, he wears a yellow shirt just in the game, but the anime version is a bit darker. He wears brown baggy pants and has a red-oranger type afro. Another example is Richard Meyer. In the game, Richard Meyer has a brown beard and brown hair. And his pants were light blue with a little bit of red and green. In the anime, his pants are black and white and despite his appearance, he looks like an old man. Raiden, Geese, Tung Fu Rue and Hwa Jai also has messed up appearances, but I'm not going to compare their appearances in this movie and the game, because I only wanted to bring in 2 examples. What I can say however is they got Billy Kane's appearance right in the anime. He does look a lot like on how he was in the games. And I also have a minor issue with Geese Howard and that's his Renpuken. Now, the Renpuken is an attack of his where he launches blue waves from the floor and will go straight at you. In the game, the way he activates his Renpuken is when he moves his arm back and then moves it forward fast enough, in order to unleash his attack. In the anime, he activates his Renpuken by opening his hand. That's it. I don't understand why the developers of this movie didn't put his original move for his attack, but it really bothers on how he launches the Renpuken by opening his hand. I really can't get over it. But with those issues aside, many of the characters are portrayed very well and half of the character's appearances do fit well in the anime just like how they were in the first game.

The artstyle is pretty good, for an anime released in the early 90's. The animation is great. It never gets messed up during the action scenes and overall, it's pretty good in the movie. I watched the english dub version and the english voice acting. Terry Bogard is voiced by Mark Hildreth, who might know him as Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing and Eric from the anime ova, The Humanoid. Billy Kane is voiced by Paul Dobson, who might know him in a lot of animes like as Mr. Willy in Mega Man NT Warrior, Shion from Please Save My Earth, Happosai from Ranma 1/2 and Richard Vincent in the Soultaker. Raiden is voiced by Robert O. Smith, who does Sagat in the american Street Fighter cartoon show and Dr. Watson in the Humanoid. Geese Howard is voiced by Ward Perry, who voiced as Ryu Jose in Mobile Suit Gundam and Governor Proud in The Humanoid. Lily is voiced by Willow Johnson, who does Ruby Moon in Cardcaptor Sakura, Kikyo in Inuyasha, Lalah Sune in Mobile Suit Gundam and Kasumi Tendo in Ranma 1/2. And I also recognized the actor that plays young Terry and that's Christopher Turner, who did Rin Kobayashi in Please Save My Earth. The music is good in this movie, although it's not entirely memorable. It still won't keep you bored in this movie.

Overall, Legend of the Hungry Wolf is a great anime movie that's fans of the first game would really enjoy. It does have problems, but those problems don't really kill this movie. But as I said, the first Fatal Fury is worth checking out if you are a diehard fan of Fatal Fury. Even if you are not familiar with Fatal Fury, I would still check this anime out.

Big update

Hey guys, listen. This update is regarding my anime reviews. I'm making changes on my list of upcoming animes I'm reviewing and for a good reason. See, I've been on hiatius on Youtube for almost 3 weeks. The reason why was because my old camera was busted and my old PC keeps giving me something called "The Blue Screen of Death"

I got a new camera already and I'm waiting for my new PC to arrive by FedEx or whatever. I thought about something for doing a special event for my reviews as a celebration of my comeback. I'm planning on doing a review marathon. I don't know what day I will start this marathon. But the way it works is that I will an anime or a game one day at a time, maybe movie reviews might be added in there (If I can face my fears for movie reviews) This is sorta the reason why you've been seeing a lot of reviews very fast, starting from Art of Fighting Anthology through Appleseed. I don't have any other plans of games I want to add on my marathon. So, I'm now adding animes and maybe movies. I will let you folks on Gamespot know on when I will do the marathon, so some of you guys can enjoyed it. Here is my new list of animes I will review and I will add them in my marathon.

  • Barefoot Gen
  • Blue Submarine No.6
  • Kokoro Library
  • Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
  • Paprika
  • Devil May Cry
  • Shigofumi
  • Grenadier
  • Now and Then, Here and There
  • Earthian
  • Ninja Scroll
  • Akira
  • The Fatal Fury Trilogy

That's my new list and I hope you like the update I've stated.
