This discussion is going nowhere. People on Gamespot are continuously discussing topics such as how Crysis 2's textures are not as good as the original Crysis textures. Now I think such discussion is ridiculous, but it still shows how nitpicky many gamers are about graphics these days. Meanwhile, a game like Super Meat Boy (which looks like it was made in the 1980s) suddenly gets all this praise from people on Gamespot. Something doesn't make sense here. When I actually saw a video of Super Meat Boy, I thought for sure that it must be some kind of joke (i.e. it's so bad that it's good). But apparently many people here actually like this game. It doesn't make any sense, but whatever.
[QUOTE="Baurus_1"]Quake III and Quake IV were crap.DanielDust
Quake 3 was what?
It's the best multiplayer arena shooter id ever made, it's their most popular game, it's the standard for arena shooters, it's still active and fantastic even today.
How is that crap? or you just played the mediocre IV and assumed 3 is bad too?
Quake III Arena was a piece of junk compared to Unreal Tournament that was popular at that same time period. id Software is overrated, but I do admit that Rage looks good, but not as good as WH40k Space Marine.
