Your post is pretty confusing jlord, I'm assuming when you say will it be this will it be that your are saying as compared to...TA right? Anyway the game is very fast paced, just look at the top of page 8, if you know how to play it's fast and if you want short games their are plenty of small maps that are made for 10 to 20 minute games.
Under RTS top 5 one game that got a 9.3 needs to be the top of the 9.3 games their you know why?
Because in 1997 Total Annihilation which got a 9.3 also happend to be gamespots GAME OF THE YEAR! And THAT makes it the top 9.3 game in that list so if you would put Total Annihilation at number 3 that'd be great.....
You will be able to max it out at all times assuming 1600 by1200 or lower is your resolution...the 1920 and 2560s are still out of reach to be honest... Anyway ya you can max it out on the singleplayer and multiplayer, but in skirmish if you run more then 1 AI it will give you problems, but who wants to do that anyway when you can just play online :P Also if you do by chance have some 30 inch monitor keep in mind the DX10 patch that will be out within 3 weeks will give ALL DX10 users a MASSIVE PERFORMANCE boost due to some great rendering techniques in the DX10 API!
You didn't like it ? What did you only play the crappy singleplayer mission ans stop? THe singleplayer mode that gives you access to only 1/10th of the dam units and doesn't even allow any of the upgrades? Play the skirmish ffs! CnC3 is nothing, but a reskin job of Generals, you blowing money on that trash is the equivalent of buying the latest madden, sims expansion or need for speed game...they've only been working on CC3 a dam year! And people from the summit said the game is more shallow then CnC generals!
You make it sound like you have to individually manage ever single unit dark....If anything the microing of the units in supcom is easier then perhaps any other RTS game as the units are fairly smart, theirs formations and the waypoint and que systems make all other RTS waypoints/ques in comparison look like sad jokes...
To bix, gtfo the game is great and so are the graphics they got an 8 and the game got a 9 in Gameplay, Value and Tilit because it is a fantastic game. I really doubt a dressed up remake of CnC is going to score any higher then an 8 here :lol:
