I don't think it does, I guess it breaks down to Doom 3 vs Half-life 2, I'll take Half-life 2 thank you very much. Doom 3 meh

First off this game isn't like TS actually it's like TD, anyway the reason they need to do more then just add a new story and faction is because this is the YEAR 2007, look at all the RTS games since TD that have pushed the genre forward by leaps and bounds, people want more then good graphic remakes!

[QUOTE="SirWrinkles"]The game seems to be nothing more then a remake of TS, with one new faction and a new story of course? Is that worth 50 bucks? Better graphics?

I for one canceled my pre-order...
Gun-Unit

It was well known it was going to play like every C&C but Generals, what were you expecting this to be?Its hyped because its going back to C&Cs roots.

Oh please, all sequels are suppose to follow the original formula, but they are also suppose to add a bunch of great new stuff to it. EA didn't (my guess is because they were to worried their own ideas would enrage the loyal fans) so I guess EA was right in just making an upgraded remake, it will sell millions, but it doesn't deserve to.

Well um their two different genres, but personally Mirrowind was a way better game then Oblivion, Oblivion seems like a dumbed down console game next to Mirrowind. Supreme Commander is a fantastic game, it can seem slow at first which is why you will see anyone who shortly played it bad mouth it, but once you get good at it, it will be as fast as you can go! It takes RTS depth to a whole new level, battles over land, air and sea. Maps ranging from gigantic to your typical small RTS maps, it seems to have the best of large and small scale RTS games. Honestly this is how I would look at it, when you buy a game you are paying for the CD key to play online really this is great for Supreme Commander as online play is the focus, Oblivion on the other hand you don't even really have to pay for it :P
