I couldn't care less about used games sales since I rarely, if ever, buy them.

What I DO care about is lending my games to friends and family. That is effectively over.

@Vodoo All they need to support it is an HDMI out from your cable box, digital access to the broadcast guide, and all the IR blaster signals.

That's pretty easy to get setup. Chances are good you'll be supported.

I hope this game supports existing USB racing wheels. It might be my day 1 game of choice if it does.

@starcrafthenry @Bgrngod AH crap. Saw the pic and even read the headline, but came away thinking it was for the deluxe.

I was just saying yesterday how I would buy this in a heart beat if the deluxe came down to $250.

Gonna go grab one on my lunch break I think.

@HuskerMetal In the case of Far Cry 3, and every other game I've got a pre-order bonus for that includes a "level", the content was one of about 60 various side missions that was over in done in about 5 minutes tops. They are scraping off about 1/10th of a percent of the total game to set aside as a pre-order bonus.

You get can hung up on the idea that "it's on the disk, I'm entitled to it!" pretty easily, but that simply ignores the point about what it is exactly that you are really missing.

I can easily testify that what you are missing, is not something you have any reason to be upset about. It's NEVER memorable in any way.. ever.

Pre-order bonuses always end up getting bundled as $5 DLC later on if you REALLY have to have it. I have yet to ever encounter a pre-order bonus that made any kind of real difference in the game.

@HuskerMetal I get this pre-order stuff ALL the time, and I can testify to the fact that none of it has every been game changing or something that would have been missed if you didn't get it. In fact, most of the time, the bonuses are entirely useless.

The Borderlands 2 pre-order gear consisted of "golden guns" that you have in your inventory when you start the game. They are replaced literally the second you see a gun drop for the first time.
