@Chefjase It's entirely possible that all SKU's will ship with a HDD that can indeed be swapped out, but the system will not function at all without it.
Amending Moore's law by extending the range? That's not amending.. that's destroying. The whole concept behind Moore's law was that it would double every 18 months.. STRICTLY 18 months. The time frame was the center piece for the whole law.
@theKSMM Exactly. It can be a little tricky to decide which way to go. This current gen hurt the PS3 a bit because of bad ports, but it also had some really spectacularly built exclusives. Double edged sword if you go bananas with the specs. PS3 felt a bit like "High risk high reward" this time around.
I'm guessing it will be similar this time around with MS having a very developer friendly architecture while Sony puts out a PS4 that is difficult, but not as difficult as the PS3.
Either way, the jump to next-gen is always exciting!
@maxwell97 Those challenges to state level laws made it all the way up to the Supreme Court, and they always fall on the same side of protecting speech rights. The movie industry went through the same growing pains decades ago. No amount of retooling laws aimed at the movie industry did anything to trump the free speech protections the SCOTUS repeatedly ruled in favor of.
