Link would down a few shots and vomit into a empty bottle.

"Congratulations, you've caught your own vomit!"

Then he holds it up proudly.

Dante loves trannies.

Link wouldn't make it through the door - not old enough.

Dante would leave with a tranny before any fight broke out.

Ryu would spend all his time eating free peanuts and Kratos would beat the Hell out of everyone else in the bar.

[QUOTE="Flexmaster_365"]It PWNS your Budget... daytona_178

Well how much will a console cost with a decent HDTV? I think the TV alone will cost more than a Uber PC!

I don't know.... how much does a PC cost with that samedecent HDTV?

Because, guess what, you know that little monitor you'll use with that PC? You can use it with a console as well.

PC fans love to use that "But you can use a gamepad with a PC too!" Well, it works both ways...

Neither the x360 or PS3 will have great sales until they are in the impulse-buy range. And that's around the $200 range.

This is evidenced by console sales history (and the glorious free market). All the cow that claim that MGS4, Lair, Uncharted, R&C, etc will vault the PS3 into PS2-sales area have not been paying attention to history.

The PS3's main problem will be getting down to the impulse-buy range before the x360 takes up too much marketshare.

Socrates88

Impulse-buy? did you just make up that word(assuming you did with that hyphen)? because quite honestly it doesn't make sense to me.

You don't know what an impulse-buy is??

At first, I didn't. D0013R enlighten me what it means. No, I don't buy on impulse. I always do research on a product that is high in value. Mostly electronics.

How do you not know what an impulse buy is?

Completely different games... but if they're forced to go head to head it's not even a contest: RE4 all the way.

Not even close.

Shenmue blew.

Concentrated boredom, that's what Shenmue should've been called.

Only on the Wii is a 7.3 considered a really good score.

Any other system andidiots would be posting "FLOP! FLOP! FLOP!" over and over again.

Anyway, I'll pass. Brain Age isn't my type of game.

I think the problem with Halo 3 is this:

Since the popularity of Halo 1 and 2, there have been a lot of devs that have tried to capture Halo's grab on gamers. By doing so, they have created a few games that are both like Halo and better. GEars of War is one example of a game that takes the Halo-type setup and killed it on graphics.

So, after seeing a game like Gears it will be hard to accept anything less than that. Especially for an exclusive title like Halo 3. This game has been touted as a console maker/breaker. So, of course, everyone is expecting to get blown away.

Thus far, from videos and word back from demo players, it isn't showing the strength that it should. That's why it is being bashed. And it should be.

dubvisions

Gears plays NOTHING like Halo. I play both like mad... and apart from the obvious ones like different perspective Gears is completely different. Gears is completely tactical, Halo much less so. Before Annex and the patch modes Gears only had one death so a huge amount of importance was spent on how you spent your one life... in Halo you can run and gun, run and gun, run ang gun, die, respawn, repeat. I could go on and on, but Gears does not use Halo's formula.

I have four words to counter your arguement about not seeing games like Riddick, etc...

Its been 7 months.foxhound_fox

Not really, developing for the Wii is so nearly identical to developing for the GC (hardware wise) that all the dev's knowledge about the GC is used for the Wii... so really it's been about 5 years.

It's a slightly tweaked GC chipset, not an entirely new set-up(like with the PS3 and 360.)

When a compant officially pulls out of the "race," they become a failure (see Sega.)

Until that point, nope - nobody will agree that any console is officailly a failure.
