AAAAAAAAAHHHH!
Don't forget - the PS3 launched several months later than it was supposed to because of severe shortages and manufacturing issues of Blu Ray diodes.
Price, price, price, price, price. Extremely expensive for a video game machine, even prohibitively so for many.
Current performance. The best looking game is still Gears on its rival console, and many of the multiplat titles actually looked better on the 360. For a system that's 200 bucks more expensive that's not good.
Library. Very weak library right now, I buy a system to play GAMES. I know, it's a shocker... PS3 is currently lacking in this department.
Online. Online systemis better than the Wii's, but not as good as Live (friends list issues, ease of inviting friends to games, etc.)
Lack of rumble. Rumble is something many gamers grew to love, and the Sixaxis functionality just seems like a cheap last second fix to distract gamers from the lack of rumble.
Faulty hardware. This is a serious, serious concern. 400 dollar systems should not be breaking at the rate 360's are.
Offers lots of choices in name, butnot in nature. Sure, there are lots of choices for peripherals.... but really - if you want to play on Live you need a Wireless connection unless you plan on running wires from router all over your house(100 bucks.) You also need a Live subscription (50 bucks,) a play and charge kit, etc. Yeah, it's technically a choice but if you want to really play the thing it isn't a very hard one.
XBox Live nickle a dime-ing. Horse Armor? Please.
Core system. Terrible SKU, and it makes the HD non-standard so devs don't utilize it as much as they would if it were a standard feature.
[QUOTE="Bill_McBlumpkin"]The Wii hardware is cheap to manufacture and drastically overpriced. Sony and Microsoft both lose money on hardware - they have high quality machines hardware-wise. Nintendo makes enormous profit on Wii hardware, it's basically a repackaged GC with a motion remote and as such it isn't able to visually set itself apart from the last generation. The days of being blown away by the graphics on a Nintendo console (like when all their old games used to come out... see also Super Mario World, Ocarina, Mario 64, Metroid Prime, RE4 - kiss those days goodbye) are officially over. Great, thanks - a repackaged GC with a new control scheme. Brillaint.
The system capabilities are underwhelming... poor audio and no HD support? Please.
Terrible online system. Right now their online system amounts to a ROM dumping ground, terrible. Friends codes? What a headache.
The library is extremely weak right now. Way too much mini/party games.
Nintendo is targeting the "non gaming" demographic and in doing so they're encouraging devs to make silly, shallow party type games. A console for my Mother and Grandmother? Jesus, no thank you.

You haven't played Zelda or SPM, have you?
Just no.
Actually I have. Loved TP (I would've given it a 9.6/10), thought SPM was great as well(although not absolutely superb like TP.) I actually preferred TP on the GC (I bought both just for comparison) because of the camera control. Those two games can only keep me busy for so long, definitely not 8 months worth of play.
Awesome games.
That being said, two games don't make a whole library. I just can't get into games like Wii sports, Wario Ware, Cooking Mama, etc - and the Wii is full of them and that doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon.
Trust me, I'm not a fanboy. I could make lists just as long for the 360 or the PS3, no system is without flaws.

now i know some of you are like wtf are you talking about. well let me get to the point. I am very confused , i am a pc gamer who buy games that come in DVD format, and then im a 360 gamer who buy games in dvd format. now what im very confused about is MS. For instance, games that are PC /360 , why does MS have the right to charge 60.00 when i can buy the game for 50.00. Both using the same format, both are made by the same dev team.
now i know fanboys are going so say well the dev teams needs to get paid for more poly count , HD resolution, sound etc(which makes no sense since pc games been having that for years). So does MS really have a excuse for this? the answer is no. but oh well the fanboys wil find some excuse for them, even thougt the games like bioshock, alan wake, oblivion are the exact same thing for the pc and 360. just pc you get to have mods that are free.
so what are your thoughts?

I don't think you understand how the industry works.
The reason they charge more for console software is because they have to.
Microsoft loses money on the 360 hardware, the most was lost early in its lifespan.... they recoup the expenses through software sales, arcade downloads, etc.
The PC market works completely differently. PC hardware manufacturers make profit right from the get go, so PC developers aren't bound by license contracts from PC manufacturers (since the PC manufacturers aren't as involved in the software side of sales, they don't need to be - they make their bread from seeling hardware. Microsoft loses money on hardware in the hopes of making it back, and more, on software.)
