@Diarm0 @BiohazardXTREME I really doubt that part about the creative freedom. The biggest budget maybe. But Activision still pigeon holed them into a genre that they've become so synonymous with. And they're expecting people NOT to make comparisons?
@colt_a I think the pre-orders for Xbox One spoke for themselves when the change happened. But hey, I'm all for it! I hope Microsoft backpedals yet again and changes their plan back, so that it can toil in obscurity while the PS4 dominates the upcoming generation.
Why does the title say Xbox One maker Microsoft? How many people out there would have seen the word "Microsoft" and asked, "Microsoft? What's that? Oh! You mean the company working on Xbox One! Why didn't they specify??"
@robbiejones How many idiots does it take for Micfosoft to backpedal yet again? Well, probably a hell of a lot more than 1,053.
It's just not going to happen, no matter how many people petition. The simple fact is that Xbox180 wasn't getting very many preorders. Once they switched their policy around, THEN those pre-orders started flooding in. If they switch it yet again, it wouldn't be a problem for the majority of those people to cancel their pre-orders.
Consumers really need to stop getting so competitive over the whole console war issue. As I remember, only last generation, Nintendo was dragging behind as well. The GameCube was the least successful console of that generation, yet anyone who owns (or owned) a GameCube will tell you that it had a great selection of quality titles, and were probably very happy with it. So who cares if Wii U falls behind in this upcoming generation? It does have Mario, Zelda and Pokemon, which pretty much automatically guarantees profit and success, even if it's not on the scale of PS4 and X180.
And for the record, I'm not a Nintendo fanboy. I don't even have a Wii. I'm just saying that people need to stop assuming that "last" of the three will automatically equate to failure.
