1. I don't remember having many problems with the game aside from a slow framerate here and there. Still, there have been plenty of complaints, so maybe I was just lucky.Planeforger

Same here. Before the last patch I downloaded (i don't remember which one) there were a couple of areas in the game where it would slow down to a crawl but that patch smoothed it out a lot.

Well, the game ran fine for me with all the patches. I enjoyed NWN2 more than the first because of having an entire party to control. The story was decent and there were a couple of interesting NPCs. Decisions you make affect you relationship with NPCs and have real consequences.

It looks a lot better. The tiles in the first were so limited that every thing looked similar, especially hilly areas. There's more variation in NWN2 and there are actually rolling hills instead of a bunch of cliffs.

There are plenty of epic battles. I'm sure the game is pretty cheap now. I think it would be worth your time and money. I would look into one of the Party AI mods that are available though. I downloaded one that was supposed to make my NPCs and enemies make better decisions though I had the party AI turned off most of the game anyway. I also downloaded a spell modification mod that was supposed to make some spells behave more like the diehard D&Ders thought they should. I have yet to play MotB so I can't comment on that.

That's probably because the Sims seem to attract more casual gamers and PC users who aren't as familar with where and how to get the game for free.

There may be pirating of console games too but there are a heck of a lot more people actually buying the games. IMO, Crytek would be dumb for not going multiplatform.

But yet the number of illegal downloads is huge. And with the demo out they sure weren't testing it out to see if their system could run it.

The number of illegal downloads of Crysis is not huge. They are generally in the same proportions to the sales numbers as any other game. Plus of course people that suspect their systems cant run it but want to see anyway are going to download it rather than buy it.

That's what is so funny about this whole thing, Crysis has built in piracy protection in that the majority of the people that did pirate the game don't even have setups powerful enough to play it!!

Did you even read my two sentences? Why would they need to test out the pirated version if they had the demo. And when it was released it would have given them more than enough time to test the game out. From what I can remember it was monther before the official release.

So you know some info that Yerli doesn't? And in proportion to sales of other games? lol If you ever looked at the number of downloads from all the torrents you could possibly find about one single game they would be a thousand times more than their retail sales.. From a single russian torrent alone for Sins Episodes it was at 500k in a month. While it took it a whole year to sell 200k.

Also Crysis didn't take a monster rig to run. Just one to run at max settings. A 6800 could run it at low settings.

I had a 6800GT before I upgraded in December that the game ran like crapon! No one is going to pay $50 for a game that looks that bad! Thats the whole point. If you only have a 6800GT you are not going to pay for that game. If you do your a fool!

And that justifies stealing the game how? You can download the demo to see if it works so there's no need to steal it to test it out on you PC.

I'm insulted these devs think its their birthright to be paid for their work, no one has any right to anything other than what nature gives us all freely. Be grateful for what you get and if that isn't enough which it should be if you were zen but i digress seek other sources of INCOMEing elsewhere, and be honest to your consumer base and say thats why you are leaving them behind, not because of some psuedoscience statistical researchartistry_

Yeah, I can't believe these guys expect to get paid for their hard work! What are they thinking? I can't believe some people think it's their birthright to download free games.
