So did I but I ran into a couple of nasty bugs. One in particular made it impossible to finish a boss fight. I had to reload a previously saved game. I didn't realize how good the unofficial patches were supposed to be until I finished the game.
There are damn near no dialogue options in Oblivion either. That may have been one of my biggest complaints. The Never Winter games have so many dialogue trees and options that it would be damn near impossible to voice over all the characters.
vampire is a must play imo, i wouldnt worry about the M rating (unless your 12 and your mom is interested) its mostly due to the language. pretty much every person in the game cusses like a sailor. nothing else in that game is any worse than any other T rated game. its got hookers and strippers in it but they all have more cloths on than most fantasy RPG toons do at creation and the 'blood and gore' isnt turn your stomach kind of thing. its a game about vampires blood is a given.
try it i bet you will like it.

I don't know man, when I entered that one guys house I found it pretty disgusting. The sound of the flys just set it off. Very atmospheric game.
You fan boys are a riot. I'm mainly a PC guy and so far I've only played the first Halo on PC but that game was friggin awesome. I'm not going to upgrade to Vista to play the 2nd one but to say half the shooters on PC are better is absurd.
I liked Doom 3 more myself. If nothing else I think Doom 3 should have received a 9 for how well made the game was. In this day when games have to be patched 3 times before they're stable, you would think people whould have appreciated it more. I liked FEAR too but I think they're different. FEAR seems like more of an action game where as Doom seems more like a horror. I do not see how FEAR is a rip off of Half Life but I do think FEAR was over rated. The Slo-Mo feature is a gimmick, not revolutionary.
IMO, the scripted events and the kick ass music often made it feel like I was in the middle of and action movie. Half Life 2 was great and so was episode 1 though it was extremely short. I don't mind more open ended sandbox type games but I like my half life just the way it is.
