This actually looks fantastic. I am still not buying either launch console, but I am enjoying the list of features both consoles are slowly releasing to the public

@Darkfall_05 @hehe101 I am guessing more of the latter. I think the next gen consoles (ps4 and xbox one) will be "maximizing" their potential far quicker than current gen. This is a GIANT assumption, but having the systems more modeled after PC architecture, the tools to develop games and maximize the consoles resources are already there.

I love the idea of crowd funding when it comes to first or second time developers and encouraging the development of niche games. In this regards I consider it charity.

But I take issue with the fact that not everyone falls into these two categories. I am essentially paying for an unfinished product and I receive no additional incentives other than a promise that there will be some kind of finished product. If I am giving you money to develop a game doesn't that make me an investor, thus I should get some kind of return based on the sales/performance of that game?

I like stories like these. Why can't schtuff like this show up on the evening news. Would showcase gamers in a much more positive light

Games like these worry me when one can actually buy "customizations" for your character other than purely aesthetic changes. Things get nerfed and buffed, that is the nature of multiplayer games, but when you purchase a power upgrade I can even see myself getting annoyed if it gets nerfed to the point of uselessness until they have time to fix it.

With analogy, league of legends nerfed Twitch to be completely worthless for more than a year. Although I was annoyed as hell, I accepted his fate cause he needed significant balancing. But the important thing is I didn't specifically buy him with real money, nor did I have to in the first place.

In Magicka items that are only purchasable through real money offer clear character customization. I could see myself being far more frustrated if the devs took their sweet time to fix/balance any item I would purchase. I am not so sure they will have the resources to maintain a balanced game with these purchasable items
