there was a couple I can think of but their name escapes me. Most westerns had trains. What view was played from? That might help narrow down the field.

Thanks for the tips. I'll go the PS2 route. Ive been watching a few auctions on ebay for games and guns. I managed to pick up a copy of Time Crisis 3 for $4 at a second hand shop in my area.

The PS2 :

  • Gun Survivor : Bio Hazard Code : Veronica
  • Gun Survivor : Bio Hazard - Heroes Never Die
  • Vampire Night
  • Virtua Cop Re-Birth
  • The Keisatsukan
  • Time Crisis 3
Panzer_Zwei
These games do make me wan't to look into PS2. I wasn't aware there was a Virtua Cop on the sony system. This way I can play some Virtua Cop and Time Crisis while keeping an eye for something else like the Keisatsukan game you mentioned. I just watched a video of it and it looked pretty good.

I like the Virtua Cop and Time Crisis Games but wasn't sure if there is some great ones that didn't make it to arcades that are worth checking out. I don't mind the cost of the guns If I only have to buy one but It would be good to have two for co op.

I have seen there is plenty available for the PS2 but I am not sure of their quality and I don't know if maybe the dreamcast had better ports of the arcade classics. I remember playing some on the Saturn that were close to the arcade versions of the time.

Considering the lightguns that each system use and the titles available which system would be best for lightgun games?

The only way to get your save data is to get someone else to fix it. Not sony as they will change the board inside making it not recognize your saves. A local repairer could get it up and running so you can do the Data Transfer under the system settings. Copying the data to another HDD won't work as when you install any hard drive in the PS3 the first time will be formatted. You can't even use the Origional one in your New system.

I assume that Agarest Senki Zero for the Xbox 360 is a different game?

nintendos-mario

That is the game mentioned in the topic. The one in the photos where people are talking about owning the PAL version for ages is a Strategy game and not the RPG that you mentioned which came out in japan ages ago but is soon to be here.

I really like Lufia II. Like zalda style puzzles with turn based RPG fights. I don't know if it was popular in other regions but around here it's unheard of.
