Ok TC fair enough, the lack of really high quality games makes sense I suppose, but where are the FIRST and SECOND party games? I suppose Nintendo would find it tough to both constantly change the Wii U hardware for 3rd parties so that it's perfect for them and make amazing games at the same time, but Retro Studios has been working on something for ages. They missed a huge opportunity to drop a gigantic megaton the likes of which would have probably irradiated the whole of America, but they didn't. Also, it's like new SSB was never announced. Not quite good enough. Hopefully the reddit post about how this e3 was basically a show for investors not gamers turns out to be true and there's stacks of unused weapons of mass destruction in the Nintendo headquarters, lying in wait.

[QUOTE="Sgt_Crow"]Where was everyone when Sony copied the Wiimote and put a lightbulb on top of it? Hmm, one can wonder.

We saw it coming from the start

Nintendo clearly won by a landslide with the pre e3 show. The last of us looks nice but very much like uncharted; zombie edition. microsoft's only saving grace was halo 4 which does look good, but the unveiling of the controller being everything that people had hoped it to be pretty much secured the win.

Ubisoft wins this year deservingly so.

However, out of the big 3, Nintendo won by a landslide with it's pre e3 show.

Rather disappointing all around, except for the Ubisoft hype train. I'm aboard!

If it wasn't for Ubisoft... there would be no games at E3 2012.Grey_Eyed_Elf
This. The tragic thing of all of this is that of the big 3, Nintendo still won e3 by a landslide. But even then, Nintendo, where the f**k is Star Fox, F-Zero, 1080, Smash Bros, Metroid, etc?!?!?! Please, for next year, ditch the damn fitness games, minigame compilations, casual games and focus on the blockbusters. People who are buying Wii U only for the fitness games and minigame compliations are not the people attending E3. Oh also, Mario's great, but we need the other franchises too!

>Implying that there's anything epic in skyrim

Skyrim is a terrible game made by a terrible developer. I seriously can't believe how a walking simulator got such high reviews. I'm thinking bribery mostly.

The release of skyrim felt a little like the release of the ps3, a whole lot of promises of new things, but then all those promises were broken. Stuff like skyrim running on an all new engine, whereas all they really changed was they slapped a new coat of paint over oblivion, changed the map and characters' dialogue. Then they priced it way above what it should be and set it loose on the world. The only difference was that the world was smart enough to see that the ps3 was a mess and they failed to see that skyrim is terrible.

Dragon's Dogma on the other hand, looks to be a huge amount of fun, with a combat system that actually looks interesting and characters with more than 1 line of dialogue.

That seems odd it's not working, I'd recommend downloading PowerAmp. I've found it to be the best music player. It also has the ability to fine-tune where on the device to look for music.

[QUOTE="El_Zo1212o"]Mobile gaming is not equal to handheld gaming. Comparing the two is like comparing PC games to flash games.

So pretty obvious troll here, but whatever. The thing you are missing here is that all the tech that went into Ocarina Of Time has been used in almost all games like it since, thus it doesn't seem very technically impressive. Playing it back in the day, it was a 1 of a kind. Nothing else out there managed to marry the controls with the 3D environment as well as Ocarina Of Time did. It's perfection in execution is something you have missed. As for saying that Majora's Mask looks better than Ocarina of Time, you must be smoking something funny, they're running on the same engine, thus look more or less the same. I'm struggling to find how you find the gameplay boring too, what other games similar to it have you played that make it boring?

Skyward Sword's motion controls are so beautiful it brings a tear to my eye to just think about the care and dedication it took to get them so perfect. The gamespot review is absolute garbage. Skyward Sword is motion controls to perfection. Whilst I loved Twilight Princess, the motion controls were slapped on as extras. Nice extras, but not nearly as crafted and as beautiful as Skyward Sword's. Not playing SS is almost a crime, as it really shows how motion controls were intended and how they are supposed to work.

Also, first Zelda game is on the 3DS? how old are you?
