@artistry or like how the Korean government raided Blizzard's offices and conviscated documents that they are hoping may explain why hundereds of Koreans are fighting for a refund and aren't receiving it?
Or why even with so much issues within the first 2 weeks, why Blizzard has done very little to address the customers/fans/suckers?
@oldschoolvandal @tigertaru @sciafb Never lose hope, there are many of us still around. Most just know better than to start commenting on articles and forums lol
Speaking of dinosaurs, how mind blowing was Jurrasic Park when that first came out?? Ok now we're starting to show our age... a little :P
@Eggs-Benedict Its hardly much of a game to play though. You're just constantly grinding for the next better equipment so that you can progress just that little bit further with a character you don't even get much say in how it levels.
D2 was better, along with so many other games out there. Activision Blizzard are just cashing in everyway they can. The game is bordering a pokie machine. And the hacks? They should have had it patched up straight away but no, "Don't fix it just yet, let more and more get hacked, it'll help drive sales of authenticators."
There are so many naive and blind Blizzard fanboys out there that it's sickening to someone who can see through their charade.
@Lostinthebliss With so many good games out why put yourself through the torment of playing a half assed sequel only when your allowed to. Just because it's new? Hardly warrents the play when there are better games out there, don't you think?
D3's a joke. Gamers know it and review sites know it, they just couldn't say it because they were paid not to.
@tigertaru @oldschoolvandal @sciafb Well said and two thumbs up! One for starting gaming on the Atari 2600 and the other for "no more all night sessions being interrupted by bathroom breaks!" - Why I did not think of that I have no idea but that is just brilliant! Maybe it's the reason why they made it in the first place, though of course they couldn't maket it like that!
@oldschoolvandal @tigertaru @sciafb Hey, we would have started our journey into gaming roughly the same time. My first console was a brand new Atari 2600 too. I followed the gaming evolution tree ever since also. The gaming bug is near impossible to shake once it takes hold.
I do agree that the Wii, in many ways, was a step backwards for Nintendo. They were willing to try something new and they went for it. It also went on to be the best selling console. Whether sales figures are the ultimate measure of success is questionable though.. kind of like the recent release of Diablo 3. Sure they made over 6 million sales on the first day or whatever it was, but it deviated so far from the series in many crucial ways that to many it was a failure.
My view of Nintendo releasing Mario and Zelda games, etc, is kind of like Disney making movies with Mickey Mouse and Donal Duck, etc. While many might be sick of them, many have grown to love and expect more of them. It's true, Wii skimped on power.. unfortunately that was it's leading fall back as to why it didn't end up seeing as many cross platform titles as the 360 and PS3 did. Had it been more powerful and had a propper HD output to support LCD TVs it may have been a very different system all together. It was interesting to see PS3 and 360 adopt similar techs later on such as kinect and the move controller, not to mention 360 getting their own version of Wii Mes - avatars.
I think it's fare to say that no matter what Nintendo release, many will buy it. And they should, because, despite a few hickups here and there, Nintendo have never failed to release a quality system that lacked fun games. Not necessarily ADDICTIVE games, but good wholesome fun. And that's what they've always been about. Though, they listen to the public, and they know that they have to learn from their "mistakes" to keep growing, because it's no longer just about pleasing a Japanese audiance. Everything is global now, and they are very aware and open to western flavours of games.
I think the Wii U will be a gret investment. It'll be a powerful console, capable of HD visuals, the controller will double as a household portable gaming device, much stronger thirdparty support, more online capabilities. It seems to be ticking all the boxes. I think the biggest hurdle for most will be getting over their opinions and judgements of the Wii and re-opening their doors to Nintendo. I honestly feel a repeat of the awesomeness that was the N64 launch on the horizon, and I sure hope my gut instincts are right! I tell you what though, they haven't been wrong so far!
@tigertaru Brainwashed fanboys who hate on Nintendo because they think they are too 'hardcore' for it.. that's all it is. Childish play ground crap. Nintendo tried enticing them to play by releasing Kirby's Epic Yarn but they were too busy playing COD lol
To hate on a system that hasn't even been released yet just goes to show the maturity level of the gaming community. Lord help us when reality kicks in and gaming has to take a back seat in their life.
