@Reuwsaat Problem with most people in business is they don't give a flying f@#$ about the industry their company supplies for. They're there to earn money, make things look good on paper and that's it. Most have probably never played a game in their life. They don't care about your enjoyment. They just want to get those numbers on the balance sheets as high as possible and by whatever means necessary.
These kind of tyrant 'management changes' take place in all industries. It's just a damn shame when good talented people get disheartened and lose interest in the industry they work in as a result of it. Screw business. The interesting thing about these managers is they think they are saving/making money by 'slaying the goose that lays the golden eggs' but they're actually causing long term harm to the company they work for. But I guess they don't really care.. they're only there for a few years to make share holders happy, add that to their resume, then piss off and destroy another company.
I'd love to see more of these articles focusing on the inner business side of things in the gaming industry. That way I could support good business ethics as well as talent!
Ahh my thoughts exactly. Technically it is an "indie bundle" but not how the gaming community see indie bundles as being. EA's indie bundle is like a snobby arrogant rich kid trying to be nice all of a sudden because no one wants to be his friend. We smell the fakeness EA. Yes.. you messed up your image in the minds of millions of gamers and no.. we don't want to be your friend anymore.
EA seem to be trying to reconnect to gamers but are screwing up royal. They just don't "get it."
The colour pallet and design looks amazing! The game itself, however, looks like a messy game of tug-of-war and a mishmash of genres. Not my cup of tea, but whatever floats your boat!
