That's really uncalled for. Many people can figure out really difficult puzzles but when it comes to a simple thing like this, they just don't see it. Everyone has a little bit of trouble with things that seem obvious to others. There's no need to be rude about it. The guy is obviously smart to even have acknowledged how good OoT is by buying it. How many people look at Zelda games the way Variety Magazine looks at Metroid and think, "ugh, puzzles! Tedious and not well-paced!" God, read that review I just linked to. It's unbelievable.

As Wiifanboy said, you just hop down. In one section, the water is shallow, so you can run across it no problem without your flame going out.

Haha, I remember getting stuck in the Fire temple for days, trying to find out where to go. It was actually really simple, all I had to do was jump across to the door. LoL, I thought there was some switch somewhere to make a platform to get up there or something. I think I'm the only person to ever have trouble on the fire temple. >.< The rest of the game was a breeze though...except that dang water temple......
