I just bought the walking dead 3g/wi-fi model yesterday. As soon as I got it home and turned it on it gave me an error message. The next time I turned it on, same error, and so on and so on. So, I called Sony and they said *UNLESS* you have AT&T 3G in your area and plan on using it just remove the sim card. I removed the sim card and the error went away and never come back. My point is, the 3G model is kinda useless unless you have AT&T 3G support and plan on using it. I don't I use my personal wi-fi in my house and my vita, although it travels with me, never uses AT&T 3G for anything, so you have to weigh your own personal options. Hope this helped...

I am so sick of these posts that keep saying if you stand your xbox vertically you are blocking a main vent. This is complete HORSESH!t. I have had my 360 slim vertical for years now and it runs fine and has never overheated. If you look closely at the bottom of the 360 it has rubber feet to elevate about an 16th of an inch off a surface it is placed on. Contrary to popular belief this IS enough space for air to be drawn into the unit with, as far as a space consumer... air is pretty thin. Just give your unit as much room as possible. I stand mine about an inch to the right of my TV so that the big vent faces right away from my TV. Every stinkin Xbox I have ever seen on display is vertical and enclosed in a case for crying out loud.

Okay, so let us say that for the sake of argument that (A) Superman is real and (B) he can fly as depicted in the comics and movies... Wouldn't he have a grill full of bug guts??? I can't drive a 1/2 mile with my jeep getting bug guts all over the windshield, so how does 'ol Supey remain buy free? In fact as fast as he flies wouldn't they be imbedded in his super pores? Yes, I know this is all I have to do with my time. Mr. Griffin, complete this sentence and your American citizenship will be assured, "the land of the free and the home of the..." "Home of the Whopper?"

This is why i bought a second or backup 360 thats sits in my closet on a shelf. It is a 4 GB slim and it is for the day when my current 360 dies i will just swap the hd into the new unit and keep rocking my 360. I refuse to be bullied into online gaming and what not. I don't use xbox live now and refuse to buy any system that mandates connectivity and usage policies. I love my 360 and there are more than enough games that i have and want to buy to last me years. Guess i will have one fat library cause i will not be making the switch anytime soon. Maybe in a year or two when the dust settles we will see but for now 360 is just fine for me. I was a poor child growing up, if I hadn't been born a boy I wouldn't of had anything to play with.

Just curious, if I were to install a *FULL* game, say Ghost Recon or Left 4 Dead to a USB Drive, would it play at normal speed or would there be lag and stuttering due to the constant accessing of the drive. I was thinking of doing this if it would play like it does straight off the disc, I actually don't have a HD in my xbox, never have, but then I only own 3 games.

Thanks.

Just wondering... what exactly is content cache and what happens when you clear it and also, where are all these 4-5 mb title updates going when I down load them, they are not in my game's folder and they are not in the content cache as it is only a few KB at best so where are they going? I have 14 games and probably 150-200 MB in title updates  downloaded but the only ones that visibly show are my Tomb Raider Update, my Walking Dead update and my NHL 13 update, all the others don't show anywhere, just curious...

No, no Lois, this has to be said delicately...

So, here it is. I have been having a problem with getting through the Shanty Town for 2 weeks now, I have been unable to burn ANY effigies or burn the gate under the bridge to advance the story, so I have been effictively stuck. Well after restarting the whole game, deleting and reinstalling updates, trying different saves, etc., here is the fix, just in case this happens to anyone else. Wear the Guerilla Suit. That's right. Up until now I have had Laura wearing her default clothes. and could not advance past this point. As a last ditch attempt, I changed her clothes to the Guerilla Suit and suddenly all the effigies and the gate burn like they should, and just to *test* this bug, after burning a couple effigies I changed her clothes back and COULD NOT burn anymore effigies. But, as soon as I put her guerilla suit back on, bingo, they all burn again. Eidos... really... WTF, over?

Please, for the love of God. A little QA/QC next time before releasing something.

I hope this helps at least one person out there, thanks to all who helped.

Well, you would be 99% wrong. I was even told by Eidos what to do and it is not working, and yes you do have to burn this gate to proceed. There is a bar across the gate wrapped in white cloth that must be burnt in order to open it, and as I explained before my arrows pass right through it, as they do with the effigies, so... as mush as you would like to think that I don't know what I am doing, I actually have researched this just a little to ensure I am not in the wrong.

You could have offered help, but instead gave me so much more, thanks.

Alright, so I bought Tomb Raider, dropped it in, downloaded the update and when I get to the Shanty Town I cannot burn or pull down ANY of the Effigies. Now this is not a huge deal as they are not essential to the story, but you know what is... burning the f*@&ing gate under the bridge to advance the story... WHICH I ALSO CANNOT DO. I have tried everything known to man, install update, uninstall update, online, offline, different saves, etc. W... T... F... is WRONG!!!!!

Eidos... I am looking at you, I have submitted this to you over a week ago to know avail, and apparently I am the ONLY one who has complained about this??? I say again, W...T...F...

I am sure this has been asked to death but...

If a game is on the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility list, is it as simple as dropping it in and playing it or do I have to download and install a bunch of software, etc. Also, does the Xbox 360 support 32GB of usb space in total, or 32GB *per* usb slot.

Thanks.

Of all the people I have ever known... you're certainly one of them.
