Don't listen to that other person. I wanted to save a few bucks and still get a great gaming picture and went with the 32" Sharp Aquos. It supports 1080i and looks fantastic. Best of all it was just a few hundred bucks, and that was over a year ago, hell you can probably score one now fer nuttin.

Happy gaming.

Before a company makes a game like they do movies these days and include a hidden level to play after the games credits have rolled. I just finished Dead Space and was thinking how neat it would be to have a hidden playable level after all the credits rolled.

Or has this already happened in a game and I just don't know about it?

Commander Noob here...

I get really fast download speeds from my PSN connection which is good, but on occasion I lose my connection during a download which sucks. To make matters worse it seems the download has to start over form the beginning if this happens. PSN or the PS3 can't resume an interrupted download like Steam or the Apple App store does?

Nothing sucks more than download RE4 and it losing the connection at 93% and having to start over... sigh...

I bought a program online from Iskysoft that burns any video or audio format, so yeah, I have burned the DVDs that I watch over and over to my PS3 HD in DIVX format (seems to be the smallest file size of all the PS3 supported ones without sacrificing any quality) but I have an ipod like most people so the audio portion is not for me, yet anyway.

Wireless is *NOT* the problem. My PS3 sits 10 feet from my wireless router accross the room and I downloaded RE4 (which was only 3.3 Gigs) in about 15 mins. I also Downloaded Bioshock from the Apple App Store for my MAC (which is 7 gigs) in around 45 mins. And... this is with satellite internet service so don't assume that wireless is the sole problem, now... wireless may not be helping but trouble shoot it first you caould have firewall, router, and who knows what other types of interference or slowdown.

Just my 2 cents.

The PSN store will be getting "The Thing"? Of all the old school PS2 games, RE4 and The Thing were always my favs and now that RE4 is available I have been secretly hoping to see The Thing some day.

Oh well...

Is it possible to control all the teams and play all the games? When I select them all as user controlled it still autoplays some games. I like to play each and every game week in and week out but i have yet to figure out how to keep the cpu from autoplaying some of them each week.

NHL 12 it is no problem, just start with Anahiem and play each day alphabetically by team and you can play all games all teams without ever missing one, but Madden has me stumped, there must be a way or why else would you be able to select all the teams???

Thanks

I am super careful with my discs, and freak when ever I get a minor smudge or scuff on one (which is next to never) but I was just wondering how much abuse can a disc take before it becomes unreadable to the xbox?

The discs at my local Game store look really bad I am amazed that they even play. I know my music cd's (some of them) are terribly scuffed but seem to play skip free, is this pretty much the case with my 360 or is it mush more sensative than your typical cd/dvd reader.

Thanks

Underwhlemed. I have no Xbox Live account, don't want one, I don't online game period so these updates for me are kinda a waste of time for me if not for the little system tweaks they include here and there. All it really did for me is make it take longer to find things on my HD and of course disable cloud since I will never need it. Visually, it looks okay, but I guess I am stuck with the default images included in the ads and such since I don't log into XBL to update/modify/change them.

Oh well, like most things in life, it's visually appealing but little else, maybe I'll change my mind after I play my first game under it and see what happens, but I expect no change in that either.

One thing I didn't like at all was on the My Games page it shows this huge rectangle for each of my 7 games installed but the actual gamer pic in each is mayber 2x2, seems like a real waste, a big fat pic would have been nice.

I see and hear nothing but bad things. Now, I know people seldom praise things in life all we ever seem to hear is about a negative experience, but I am just wondering, is it actually any fun or is it so bug riddled that it is just frustrating.

I am looking for a nice, long game to occupy my time for a while and was really interested but am reluctant to pull the trigger due to all the bad chatter. All my friends praise it, but forums like these just seem to focus on the downsides, thanks.
