Just got around to finally getting a 360 and I have a question. I only bought the 360 slim 4GB model for 3 games. NHL13, L4D 1&2. But, there is not enough room for all the DLC for L4D 1&2, my quesiton is can I download all the additional DLC to a thumbdrive and play the few DLC levels from the thumbdrive or will they play slow and choppy of the thumbdrive. Oh, and just one more question to L4D experts, I see that L4D 1&2 each have their own "Sacrifice" level in DLC. Do I need to purchase both, seems like a little bit of a rip off  to purchase the same level twice just to play it with 4 different characters, unless it is different in some other way, thanks all.

I don't online game, don't have an online connection to my PS3 and don't want one. So, in the spirit of the holidays, to whomever has the fastest fingers, enjoy...

I have noticed when I download and install PS3 games like RE4 and Walking Dead that they appear as icons at the bottom of my games tab, however when I download PS1 Classics like Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania SOTN, that after I install them there are 2 icons for each title. One is the initial download which appears in a small bubble the second is the actual installed icon.

My question is, after the game has been successfully installed, can the download (the icon in the bubble) be deleted?

Thanks.

Why doesn't EA Just make a Madden, NHL, and NCAA game without the "year" after the title and release updated rosters, uniforms, stadiums, etc. etc. through DLC each year. Seems like they just keep producing the same game every year. And I shutter to think how much more game could be made if they were to exclude all the draft, recruiting, signing, releasing, greatest players ever, most incredible comebacks ever, and all this other crap that eats up disc space that I personally never EVER even look at. I just want to drop the disc in and play a game, season, playoff, etc.

Then they could focus on further moving Dead Space away from survival horror and other pending mistakes... sigh...

Thanks for the input, but I think you all missed my point. I know they go into my download list and stay there and I can re-download them as often as needed, I am trying to avoid that though as I have satellite service and have a cap every month that I cannot exceed. So, can they be backed up to a thumbdrive so I can re-install as needed say if I were to install a larger HD?

I have satellite internet service and while I am very pleased with the download speed I do have a cap each month I have to be sure I don't go over and downloading large files form PSN puts a dent in that cap big time, price I pay for living out in B.F.E. I guess.

Anyhoo, can I back up my PSN purchases to a USB drive? I see the PS3 has a backup option in the system settings tab I believe. Or should I replace the HD eventually will I not be able to restore those backups. I thought I read somewhere you could back them up but that they will not function if a format or complete restore is done.

Kind of defeats the purpose of backing them up doesn't it?

Thanks in advance.

Frankly, it doesn't matter what you get as long as you are happy. I however would not recommend a plasma TV. Sure they look nice, but the science of the matter is *EVERY* single plasma TV sold *WILL* die when the plasma gas inside runs out. Nobody ever talks about this because it takes about 10 years or so for it to happen and most people I think don't plan on having the same TV in 10 years from now, but looking back the TV's I replaced with my current flatscreens were all at least 10 years old so why buy something that will 100% for sure die on you, now I know everything is man made and will eventually die, but when you go with plasma it for sure going to happen even if the TV itself is fine, eventually the plasma gas will go. Just info for ya.

Smell ya later...
