Am I the onlyone who loved Mechassault for the Xbox?

I really wish someone would **** or get off the pot when it comes to a Mechassault game for the Xbox twa-siddy.

I don't know anything about any of these other so-called mech games out now, they any good?

I can never seem to complete a season of Madden or NHL. I get 3/4 of the way through and get bored with winning all the time and turn it off.

Then after awhile, I tell myself I am ready for more go back and try again, and the same thing keeps happening. This year, I vowed to NOT erase my progress when this feeling overcome me and just stop playing until the urge picks up again and then finish what I started... I KNOW I CAN DO IT !!! =)

Absolutely... get one. Especially if you are like me, I game an hour here and there and never go online or download crap.

I bought the Arcade model last month, and DO NOT regret it. The 256 MB card that comes with it is plenty o game with. I have my madden and nhl seasons saved to it along with my bioshock dave an still have well over 200 MB of room.

You only need a hard drive to go online and to store downloads, and other large files.

NOW... the word is in the future the xbox is going to go the PS3 route and require installation of some or most game to your hard drive to probably speed game play and load times and such, but who knows when that will be.

Save the money you'd spend on a higher end model and spend that for a game or two. xbox has some great platinum series games right now for 20 buck or less, condemned, ghost recon 1 & 2, marvel UA, call of duty 2 and many more.

Am I the only one who wants a Star Wars game that incorporates the bounty hunters from Empire Strikes Back?

I think a really good 3rd person / 1st person game could be made where you get to play each bounty hunter from the movie and have to capture bounties throughtout the galaxy to progress.

But not crap like the SW BH game that centered around Jango Fett.

I wanna play as Boba Fett, Bossk, IG-88 and the rest an have high priced bounties like Luke, Han, Jabba, Vader, Yoda, so on and so on.

I think it would be cool to have to travel to a jedi's home world and capture them along with whatever else you came across along the way.

I just thought this aspect of the SW universe has never been appreciated.

I am in a weird place in my gaming right now. I literally have no games at the moment. Traded them all in as I was bored with them.

I love FPS, have read all the reviews, but not sure which one to get. Which one is truly great and worthy of replay?

Thanks.

On Xbox.com it's listed as hard drive required. Anyone know if it is required to play or required if you want online, new maps, whatever?

I'm a poor arcade owner and get buy with my measly 256 MB,which for now has been fine, but I fear game like this and RE5 and such are going to require installs. Thanks peeps.

Last night my 360 played fine. After a few hours I went back to it, pressed the button on my controller to turn it on and the 360 did nothing, but the ring on the controller flashed all four segments all the way around and the only way I could get them to turn off was to remove the batteries.

When I pressed the power button on the system the unit fired right up and worked fine, and after that I changed my batteries in the controller and everything worked fine as usual.

So does 4 flashing lights on the controller mean the batteries are dead, or did I temporarily lose connectivity for some reason, just curious, this is my first 360, and its less than 30 days old and was manufactured in May, so I'd like to think it's reasonably reliable.

Thanks.

Why won't someone get off their butt and make a new mechassault game? Or am I alone in liking the original Xbox Mechassault game.

I thought it was most goodly. Anyone played Armored Core or any other games that I might like if I like Mechassault, thanks.

I was in the same boat as you, I have never played a grand theft auto game, a halo game or many other famous great games out there.

Well, I was sitting on about $150 in credit at my local gamestop so I figured, all these reviews can't be wrong. So, I picked up Bioshock and GOW.

All I can say is... GET GEARS OF WAR. This game rocks, once you get the hang of hiding for cover and fighting from behind it, which you must or you'll die, you'll love it. I have no idea how far into the game I am, but I am in a stage that's very much like the movie pitch black, you must run through the level on foot staying "only in the light" if not these kryll creatures swoop down on you and rip you to pieces.

Get it, you won't be sorry.

It all depends on what you are into. Everyone and there brother tried to convince me that an Arcade system is a waste of money. But, I *NEVER* game online and don't play / save sports games, wich are the real memory hogs. I bought an Arcade and have literally hundreds of MB of memory left on the memory card and all my games saves are on it, Bioshock, Gears of War, GRAW 1 &2, Condemned Criminal Origins and more.

It all depends on your likes / needs. If you plan on storing movies, games, music, etc, then yes you need a HD of some sort, but if you casual game like me an hour here, an hour there, the Arcade will suit you fine, and I love mine, runs quiet as can be and is nice and cool. It was born May 27 2008.

Hope this helps you.
