1) Do the newer Arcade Consoles come with the newer Falcon chips and has anyone heard of their reliability?

2) I am a casual gamer, I never play seasons in sports, just casual games, does the Arcade 360 have the ability to save your gamertag and such to the system like a unit with a HD on it or is all of that saved to the memory card that comes with it, just curious, thanks.

Surprise... it was from a Game-stop.

I managed to find a NEW copy of NHL 2K7. I am VERY particular about my purchases from stores other than Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. But, this game was sealed with plastic, seams and all. Not shrink-wrapped with a melted crease like vegetables at a supermarket. Also, it had the sticker along the edge of the box beneath the plastic wrap, like a new title should, so I felt pretty good.

Now normally I give all new purchases a little shake to ensure the disc is seated on the spindle, you can hear it rattle slightly when it does this, I do this because I have bought games before that when I got home I found were not secured to the case and have been sliding all around in the case getting scratched up.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the case and found NO DISC AT ALL!!!

The case didn't feel light, I couldn't even tell. I went through hell and high water getting my money back with that one.

Be careful out there. Give your new purchases a little shake when buying them and listen for the disc rattle.

Successfully updated their ps3 with a USB device? I am NOT connected to the net, and when I try to download version 2.35, I keep getting 2.30? What gives?

Hell, if you click the main page that shows the little PS3 icon with a 2.35 next to it, the link it taks yo to shows 2.30???

Getting pissed, as I seem to be the only one in the world this is affecting, probably the reason causing this also led to my "lost" stimulus too.

Sometimes the world sucks big time.

My PS3 has been pdated to 2.30 since it was available but when I download from the Sony site and another mirror site, I keep getting told no new update information found.

I double checked the ps3 folder and update subfolder, everything is as it should be, what gives?

I haven't any ps3 problems, but i do like to keep my system up to date.

Any ideas?

It seems like the majority of people that hae problems with their games are also online gamers. I have a lot of the games that I see people having problems with and the only difference between me and them is I do not online game, don't even have my PS3 hooked up.

I also read that a majority of these problems are fixed by unplugging from the "net".

Just noticed that for some reason, maybe I'm stating the obvious, I don't know. Good luck with those games though. Sure glad I didn't really care for GTA IV, seems like one big headache.

I'd like to talk to you about the Avengers Initiative...

And yes, millions. I saw the other day where GTA IV was 100 million to make. Granted it is exponentially larger than something like Iron Man, but even the smallest, carppiest games cost several hundreds of thousands to a million or 2 to design, code, produce and market.

Do companies spend MILLIONS to make a game that sucks so bad? Iron Man, Transformers, and on and on. I seems like some team would say, we are going to be the first to pae a new path and make THE superhero / movie tie-in game. Can it really be that difficult?

Hulk ultimate destruction, X-men legends are the few exceptions, so YES, it can be done. Lazy bastards.
