Well, another hurricane is brewing (:P brewing, brewmaster :lol: <.< >.> ) Well anyway... Rita is currently in/near Atlantic Ocean and is projected to hit Houston... It is supposedly coming this weekend so this weekend time will be limited... and depending on severity, longer than a weekend... It won't be as bad as Katrina, it's only going to be a class 3... We are just supposed to get a lot of rain.. but you never know... If it does hit hard though.. we will have to evacuate Houstonians, and the Lousianians... :roll: great... Just thought I'd give a heads up to everyone while my computer works.. I've been having problems with it.. o.O I will give a more in depth report as the week grows old... In other news, I've stumbled into kitties and rainbows... interesting to say the least... Astros lost tonight, but still hold the wild card with 12 games left... Well that's all for now... Later. :)

Well, today at 4:45 I was asked if I wanted to go to the Astros game that started at 7:00, tonight.. Of course I went... What a great game... It was low scoring... There were some hot girls there.. :P But I didn't focus on them since the game was great... Jeff Bagwell is back ladies and gentlemen!!! He hit the game winning hit in the bottom of the 9th... Brad Lidge did an unbelievable job in relief... Got out of a 2nd and 3rd with 1 out jam... WOOT!!! Depending on the Marlins/Phillies game the 'Stros are either a game and a half up on the Marlins or are still up by half a game... Hopes for finding a Homecoming date have gone up by 2 people. :) We shall see how that goes on Monday... Well that's all for now... Later...

Well, Monday night I went to a Dave Weckl Clinic.. For those who don't know (most of you) Dave Weckl is one of the top drummers in the world... He played for 45 minutes to an hour.. then talked about his equipment for an hour.. gave a semi-quick lesson on technique and then played some more... After he finished playing I bought his CD, Multiplicity.. and got his autograph and talked to him for 5 minutes or so... That was awesome... The whole thing ended around 11 PM and I had stood the whole 3 hours or the clinic... I got home around 11:30 PM and had to turn in a paper by midnight... I barely got it in on time... :P

Astros are currently skidding out of the wild card, but hopefully that will turn around... Survived another day of school... *sigh*

Saturday wasn't as ownage as last week... (Probably because I had better compition)... I lost at H-O-R-S-E.. I had Horse he had HORS... So that was the start of the not so ownage day... We started off with some football... My friend Nat and Doug vs. Me... I was the Titans (because in 2001 they were good)... I won the 1st 3 games and then they won the last game... Next was Super Smash Bros... We played 9 matches.. 10 Lives each... Nat won 4, Doug won 4, I won 5... So I came out on top, but didn't beat them too bad... We then played poker.. I came in 2nd and Doug won.. Nat left and then Doug and I played Blind Man's Bluff... That was great.. I won that... We then went back to the console and played some Conker's Bad Fur Day... We played the Beach scenario.. I won as the squirrels 10-9... then we switched sides and I won as the Teddy Bastards 10-6... We then played total war mode in the bunker... I won that 6-3... We then played All-Star Baseball 99.. I won that 19-7... It was a good day.. I then watched an anime movie after he left... "Escaflowne" I thought it was great... Anyone else heard of that? Currently I'm doing homework after doing yardwork and watching football's 1st week... That's all for now... Later

I found some site that had the meaning behind songs... So I read up about some LP songs... Foreward was interesting.. The crash at the end is Mike Shinoda smashing the CD-R because of corrupt data and you can hear him groan or sigh or something if you turn up the volume...

I've lost the urge to post tonight... OT is boring... too many Bush and Green Day haters about.. (Though Green Day is anti-Bush.. WTF)

I've been playing a lot of All Star Baseball 99 for the N64 recently... Currently I am 24-3 as the Houston Astros... I'm in a series against the Phillies right now...

Well, I stayed home today from school... I was sick with a runny nose and a cough... My mother is making me go to school tomorrow... :roll: Great just what I need... Spent the day sleeping, playing Fire Emblem, or reading the Scarlet Letter... It's moving slowly... My weekend with my sis went well... After Saturday (see previous journal entry) I watched LP's Live in Texas DVD to pass some time... My little sister has gotten into ice skating and Sunday was free skate... My older sis took her and they had fun until the older sis twisted her ankle... :| I was able to give her my crutches so she can get around better... Monday she left and I started feeling under the weather... My dad wanted me to "sweat it out" and go do yardwork.. I decided to go to webmd.com and see what they recommended for colds... I found lots of interesting articles...

Well, anyway.. Yesterday was my big day of old-school.. I had 2 friends over... One came around 12:30 and the other came around 1:00... Only problem was my first friend who had to leave at 1 to go hunting with his dad. :P
I didn't let that bog me down... The first game was All-Star Baseball 99... I won 29 to 4 I believe... Next was Conker's Bad Fur Day... I won on Heist, Beach, and Tank... and that was all we played.. next came Perfect Dark... We played the Complex with Golden Gun, Farsight, Laptop gun, shields, and CMP150s. I won 33 to 9... But he owns me in Halo so we are even... :P
Next game was Super Smash Brothers... He was Captain Falcon, I was Link.. 10 lives, all items on except, Hammer (his call), Bumper and Fan (my calls)... We did random, and came up on Samus's area, with the acid... I won a good bout 10 to 8... Next he switched to Link and I moved to Samus... Kirby's Dream Land was the area and I won 10 to 4... He moved back to Captain Falcon and I stayed with Samus... DK Jungle was the stage and I won again, 10 to 7.. He was getting frustrated because he said he was pretty good, so I decided to tone it down and be Pikachu... He was Cpt. Falcon and he "won" 10 to 9... Next game was Blitz 2001... We played a lot of games of that, I was the Tennesse Titans and he jumped between Dallas, Washington, and St. Louis... Finally to prove a point I picked the worst team on the game (Eagles) and I still won... He forced some overtimes, but I still came out victorious... We had Pizza for dinner and watched the Astros lose. :cry:
We then played another game of baseball, I was the Astros everytime BTW... He was the Reds... I won 33 to 4... We then went and played some No Limit Texas Hold 'Em... it was a good heads up match... On the 2nd to last hand, I had a King and a 2, and the flop came out with Jack and a pair of 7s... The turn didn't do anything, and the river was another 2... I bet 200 I believe he called, also had 7s over 2s, but had a Queen kicker to my King... On the last hand he went all in after the flop, not knowing I had flopped 2 pair... he had a flush draw in clubs, a straight draw, and a straight flush draw... Well the cards weren't with him so I won again... We then played some Horse in basketball (which is his sport) but I still won... It was good having him over.. I enjoyed owning him.. :P

Well the weekend is coming and it is a 3 day weekend for me. :D That's bad for school but good for you all... :P
My older sis is coming home for the weekend so I get to spend some time with her which will be cool (hopefully I will be able to update my iPod)... I'm planning on having some friends from school over and we are going old-school with some Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers, NFL Blitz 2001, and some others... You know what that means... My territory, I win... 8) Sunday and Monday will bring suprises because I don't know what I will do.. besides GS. :P

I don't believe so... I know it's addicting but that's because the community is o so much fun to be a part of... I like communicating with everyone that I do talk to and the topics we cover... It's a great place to go and see what's up in others' worlds... I've made good friends while on here... Most of which I hope to talk to for as long as I'm on here, and even after they or I leave... Why I bring this up you ask... Because after logging off earlier tonight I was questioned by my family what is it that makes me sit here for part of the day and what there is to talk about... I responded with simple answers to the simple questions... Who are these "people"? What's your alias? Is this a club?... What do you talk about that makes you sit there for the whole day?

Simple answers:
1. These people that I associate with are friends that are people I can talk to and enjoy intelligent conversation with.
2. I am Brewmaster6... Sometimes referred to as Panda-Man
3. No, it's a community on a forum site.
4. I talk about society, video games, television, some deep topics... and I enjoy it... That's the point though isn't it... I wouldn't do it if I didn't like it...

The overall reason I use this site is to be in a place that I love... A place to talk about video games or whatever the hell I want... I can say what I want, have an opinion and not be shunned... I can converse with people who know what RPG stands for, where people know what that key item does in FF7...

My parents asked me how I found GS and told them about signing up after being a little worried about giving away the personal info to GS.. My dad harassed me for that... But I felt (and still do) that GS is a well run website that is trustworthy... The thing is, my parents (and maybe y'alls too) don't understand my life... I'm not posting pics in this entry because it is a plain, entry that I don't want people only oggling over the pics and not reading the entry.... Just leave your opinions of what brought you here, are you interrogated by your parents... This is a lot of scattered thoughts put together not very well done, but you might get my message...

So leave with this... I'm glad I came here and met the people I've met... And I hope to continue getting to know you all better and meet more people that I am able to share experiences with...
