If you are really wanting a PS3, I say use the money and save up for the rest to get it. But, I would not get rid of the 360, because you will find yourself regretting it at some point. So, Id recommend seriously considering to keep the 360.

So, the real questions is, do you want to spend the money you do have right now on an iTouch, or do you wnat to save up a little more to get a PS3?

YoBrandino

I don't desperately want an iTouch or something. It's just I've got this money specifically for an electronic device and I'm looking at how to use it.

I'm scared I'm going to regret selling the 360, but I guess it's a choice I have to make.

[QUOTE="Bucketz23"]

[QUOTE="Couth_"]Try to own both. Your 360 with all of the goodies is worth $180 tops on ebayCouth_

Here's how much I think I will get (tell me if some of my predictions are wrong).

£50 for the 360.

Maybe £20 for HDD.

£10-15 for the two controllers

That's £90 (PS3 is £295).

I should ge at least £70-80 for all my games, FIFA 08, Madden 09, Halo 3, Burnout Paradise, Mass Effect(good times) and NBA 2k8.

I don't know about Europe...But I know I bought my 360 off ebay, and when I was looking for one they ALL sold for $175-180 (u.s. dollars) no matter what they came with. Some just the console, some came with extras. Mine came with two controllers, HDD, 4 games, and a headset, for $180 still. So just check it out and see what the normal going price is

I'm seeing some going for £90 on Ebay.co.uk. These are the premium ones though, I've got the Core.

Let me start this thread off by saying, PLEASE NO FANBOYS! I want honest, unbias reviews from posters who actually want to help. If you are a fanboy, I will pick up on it and pay no attention to your post. Now I'll get to the real deal:

I've had an Xbox 360 since it's original release. It's crapped out on me twice, but my current 360 has been going at least for a year strongly and looks perfectly healthy. Despite this, I am considering dumping it for a PS3. My best friends, and my cousins have a PS3 and the time I've spent playing it have been really enjoyable. I like the feel of the PS3, the way everything is done. I just like it. Anyway, I have been given some money to spend on an Electrical gadget or something that I really want. I've been wondering in my mind if I should sell the 360 on eBay (Core, with the HDD, two controllers, how much is it worth?) and use that money, as well as the money I have been given to get a PS3. Is it worth switching perfectly working Xbox 360 for a PS3? At the end of the day, I'll make the decision based off of my own opinions, but some good advice would be MUCH appreciated.

The other option I have is to keep the 360 and get something like an iTouch (8GB) or something.

Thanks.

I know it doesn't connect by bluetooth, I was merely stacking the fact :P .

I downloaded something from Microsoft which is supposed to connect the controller to the Laptop.

Oh well.

Basically my Xbox 360 wireless controller is not connecting with my Laptop. I've downloaded and installed all the needed software but it still doesn't work. My laptop DOES have BlueTooth. I press the X button and it brights up, but it's not connecting with my laptop.

If you could please helpme solve this, it would be much appreciated.

Just played for an hour and a half and it all looks alright. I hope it holds up for Saturday because I'm having a bunch people round my house then for a tournament.

[QUOTE="Avenger1324"]ere is a sensor inside the 360 that detects which way you have your 360 positioned (vertical or horizontal). This can make a rattling noise if you shake your console, but it's not very loud. If you tip your 360 and hear something loose falling around inside the box, then you are in trouble. If nothing falls about, then you may be okBucketz23

Yeah it doesn't sound very loud and it doesn't feel like something is jumping around inside the box.

It may be alright then.

Thanks alot buddy!

Hey guys, I'll play a couple of hours now and let you know what the situation is.
