haha, good joke.IF that happens, I'm willing to bet that there will be a major comeback for "old school" gaming down the line.

[QUOTE="Parasomniac"]They're not accurate. ProjectNatalFan
more accurate than a system wars poster anyday of the week though, lulz
AKA not accurate. While I wouldn't say doomed, gotta admit their predictions did still come true. The Genesis sold well and Nintendo began the long, slow spiral down to losing market share on home consoles which lasted until... the Wii, 16 years later. But I think it's safe to say they'll never reach that kind of market share on home consoles ever again (and probably no one will, although Sony came darn close between '95 and '06). They weren't doomed in 1990. Nintendo started losing in the next generation thanks to Sony, not SEGA. It was 10 years of downtime for Nintendo. The fact that they managed to win against the Genesis isn't the big point, the downward trend did indeed start with the SNES.[QUOTE="SakusEnvoy"]

I wish I could have the title "Nintendo Gamemaster"
In fact even just the title "Nintendo Player" would suffice

Pretty sure it will be the Wii minus Nintendo software.Just a thought that occurred to me. We all pretty much know that Kinect can't be applied to the 'hardcore' games , but what if developers have to innovate to create unique games designed around the control system? I'm not thinking about stuff like Kinect Adventures or Kinect Sports, but more along the lines of Child of Eden.
Thoughts?

You ruined it :( More expensive is debatable. Move has a lower starting price point. The slogan More is Better! is Move's best protection against criticism about price..Even if Move is more expensive than the competition, you also get more. This is similar to the way the PS3 is more expensive than the competition, yet the slogan It Only Does Everything paints the PS3 as a console that gives you a lot more. I think my slogan is brilliant. Sony should pay me. Yeah we all remember how with their brilliant pricing and marketing the PS3 managed to outsell their competitors when they released their hilarious value comparison chart.[QUOTE="RogueShodown"][QUOTE="SaltyMeatballs"]More expensive.dragonboot
I'd just like to point out that in Japan Monster Hunter Tri requires a subscription fee to play online so it's pretty obvious that it would sell less than the psp games.
But, you're still making compromises... I mean, no Playstation Move controllers?! (I concede they're not out yet, but pre-ordering is a must).[QUOTE="SakusEnvoy"]

Hmmm kay let's do this for the PS3 for the full experience.
Console - $300
1TB HD- $100
3 extra controllers - $150
Headset - $40
3D TV - $5000
4 3D Glasses - $400
makes a grand total of $5950 to have absolutely no compromises for the serious PS3 gamer compared to my less then $900 PC which wipes the floor with that PS3. So you were saying?

Oh but you need the PS eye camera as well
Not to mention a high end 7.1 surround sound system and the TV recorder addon.... it just never seems to end.
But with a 7.1 surround system you won't be able to have it in your normal room, it'll get way too cramped! Now you'll have to get your own big house for atleast $100,000! And this is on the low end! :o
