Im a huge MGS fan. I've played them all up until the latest, and yes i thought MGS2 was an amazing game.
My question is, why do people freak out and get upset when they hear rumors of it going to 360? As a huge fan of the series, and someone who doesnt want to spend 400+ dollars on a ps3 console to play mgs4, (this is my decision..I aint "hatin"), this would be absolutley amazing if it really did happen.
Of course this is assuming that its the same game on the 360 as the ps3 (see far cry 2 and its multi platform support), but maybe not as good graphics as ps3. As long as the game is the same story wise and gameplay wise, why would this be so horrible to give 360 users an opportunity to enjoy this series?
EDIT: Just saw the "Sony MGS franchise" post andi t pretty much hits up on this same point..so i guess this can be deleted?
Stephen King's "Cell".
I cannot recommend this book enough.septemberluc
That book was OK. Towards the end it looked like stephen king just started slapping things together to finish it.
The Stand by King is a much much much better apocolyptic type book.
Desperation is also a great king book
The Road is a great book
Blindness is good (if you can stand the rambling..)
Gravitys Rainbow so far is great ..when i understand whats going on. But man this book is big lol.
All this talk about NXE (new xbox expeirence) and the avatar creator has me worried that all the awesome gamerpics i downloaded and in some cases purchased will become obsolete when the update arrives on Nov.19. I like the avatar idea but personally it isn't for me, I would rather use my gamerpics instead. Anyone know if Gamerpics will still work come Nov.19?BIGDeVriendt
Those cost? ...wow.. glad i wasnt into them

And also how does Palin have more experience than Obama? In what areas? Governing Alaska? Foreign Policy? How are you coming to these conclusions.
Do poeples parents just tell these kids what to think or are people doing some research. I hope youre not of age to vote...no offence.
Obama has less than 2 years experience. Most of the time he has been campaigning.
And what? You think you are special and can automatically tell you know more than someone from one or two sentences..please.
I have done plenty of research on it. I bet I know more about this current political crap than many other people out there. I've discussed this with hundreds of people over the past few months and know plenty. Not everything, but I know enough to get by. Like I said before. McCain voter. Not because I like him a whole lot. But because he is the best choice.
2 years of experience that gave him plenty of knowledge to know the war in Iraq was doomed to fail and spoke against it, a surge of troops was not the right answer, (would take responsibility off Iraqi soldiers and more on our soldiers..the exact oposite of waht the administration says it wants to do). We also know the surge in troops was not the reason that violence has dropped in Iraq, it was "classified government actions beyond the surge of troops". McCain may have more experience than Obama, but has gotten it all wrong and palin def. does not have more experience. I think thats clear...
[QUOTE="effthat"]Over a decade ago, foreign affairs weren't as high on the list of "things our president needs to be good at".
flazzle
Can you name one administration when foreign affairs weren't high on the list? Any time in American history?
Before americas birth. Ha good point. Keeping in touch with foreign affairs is a huge part of being president of the US. Look at our economy...and the economy of the rest of the world. So many countries including us depend on import/export relationships. And this didnt just happen with the market turmoil...this has been a part of americas survival sicne the beginning.
[QUOTE="Buddha_basic"]This is a good point. But i think the main reason McCain chose Palin (he hadnt even met her), was a political stunt.
But yes, biden has stated 'Hillary is a much more competent, and prepared person for the VP' ...im paraphrasing but it goes something like that.
The thing is, the republicans put the spotlight on palin, the spotlight she shall get... Especially after her blunders. Im not trying to be a ass, but this is just how it is.
flazzle
You are not being an ass. I think McCain sees Palin as someone more like himself. Regardless of who McCain chose, there would be much criticism anyway.
Biden actually said "Hillary might have been a better pick for VP" than himself. He also said Obama was not ready for the presidency. And lets not forget his FDR/tv set/depression statement which is wrong more ways than one.
Now none of the above holds much substance with me because when you are candidate you are pounded with pressure, information, interviews, etc. You are TIRED.
But the point is if Palin made similar statements that Biden did, you would still be hearing about them. Every mistake she makes is magnified. She does have to fight the media much more than Obama/Biden.
In fact, look at SNL. They have made fun of Obama once compared to numerous times of McCain and Palin. And even when they did mock Obama, wasn't even that bad.
Last weeks was funny and seemed most fair.
How do the Repuiblicans put the spotlight on Palin more than the Dems put the spotlight on Biden? I don't think a party can control that.
you've got great points. And oh dear you had to bring up the FDR/TV comment hahaha.
Anyway i think the conclusion we can both come to is to not let the media curb our vote. We have to look at the policy of each candidate and their running mate and make a decision from that.
