Obama is scary, so is biden, on the VPD he told so many lies. plus taxes are high enough. all these stupid enviormental punks.TheWampaKing

Youre forgetting this is politics. McCain and Obama alike, are giong to say one thing in Illinois, and something different in Alabama. This is how you win votes. Having nationally televised debates makes candidates very uneasy, which is why they dance around questions so much. They cant honestly appeal to everyone they appealed to before, because they would be saying different things. Plus they are trying to appeal to the electorate votes, not so much the popular vote. Do some hard research on the candidates, and then make up your decision.

[QUOTE="heyfunboy"]How many 72 year olds you know that can stand up as long as McCain can?bungie93

McCain survived six years as a prisoner of war, but Americans come up the asinine excuse that he might die in office. Obama wouldn't last a day in a prison camp.

Lets put aside POW camps and um...OLD AGE. (regardless of whatever you indure in your life, if you live through it, people usually tend to die around 70-80 years old....)

How about their policys? Lets vote on that instead of people voting for someone simply because someone is black, or simply because someone is female, or simply because someone survived a POW camp, ....i could go on?

[QUOTE="Tsunami23"]I would say give your cat milk and wet food only a couple of times to see whether or not he/she can tolerate it. I'm seeing lots of no milk advisories, but really it depends on your cat. When I had my cat, he loved milk and never had any stomach problems for it. He could not however have the wet food as he would throw up all over the place. Make sure your trash cans are high, as your kitten can get in and eat some really bad stuff. Expect lots of hairballs and lots of scratching, that is unless you get the cat declawed which is a good suggestion.Serraph105

yeah i would suggest you get the cat declawed at least in the front paws at any rate

Do NOT declaw your cats. Let me explain.

Declawing your cat doesnt just remove the claw. The cat claw is very closley adhered to a bone in the cats foot. Therefore, when declawing, the surgery is basically amputating a part of the bone. This means an EXTREMLEY painful recovery time for your cat. (It still has to scratch, clean, walk, and cover its poo in the litter box during this recovery peroid). Its even outlawed in many european countries.

2nd many people claim their cats personality changes after declawing..............pizza

Its expensive. Just get some animal nail clippers and learn how to properly and safely clip your animals nails.

You have a young cat, this is good.

DO NOT let this cat outside. Outdoor cats have a very high chance of dieing young. (cars) And the younger you train them to stay indoors the easier it is to keep them indoors.

Dry food is the cats best friend, but HEAVY on calories. You can very easily end up with an overwieght or unhealthy cat if you feed them dry food. Veternarians recommend soft food two to three times daily and soft food only. + water of course.

alphacat

kick the can was great. We also played ghost in the graveyard (sort of opposite of hide and seek) but we had a neighborhood kid who came from a right wing christian family that made us rename it to "clown in the circus"....anyway..good times

In an effort to push forward the 700 billion dollar "bail-out" to buy back the bad mortgages (all 100 billion dollars worth), and after the minority of congressmen and congresswomen speaking out AGAINST the bill and promptly being kicked out and silenced, the house has declared Martial Law.

What this means is that all congress persons are basically held hostage and asked to vote for legislation they know nothing about, because behind closed doors the legislation is still being negotiated. This means the 700 billion dollar bail-out bill being proposed to congress, is being pushed to the members of the House with little or no time for these members to take the time NEEDED to read it over, descriminate, and ultimately come to the conclusion of whether or not this bill is within the boundaries of the constitution, before being required to vote on it. This bill is several hundred pages long and would take days to fully disect and understand, and yet the Members of the House are being forced to vote on it without any understanding of it.

[QUOTE="george33387"]the central american bank?Rhazakna

I was talking about the Federal Reserve, yes. But all business cycles are caused by a central bank. A country based on capitalism and trade needs flat money with actual value to keep a level economy. What we spend now is essentially just government bonds with no value, that can be manipulated by the whims of bankers.

Its not just another "bust". You said it right here. Its a lack of regulation on banks giving money out that has no value because they arent backing it up with gold anymore, then charging interest on it, and whne they go in the hole because of it they expect us to bail them out anyway. The lack of regulation led to AIG, Lehman Brothers and the like to get into a position where going belly up would ruin the small guy, (us), and therefore cant be allowed to happen, yet it did. Saying its another bust is assuming we still have a free market, in which case a 700 billion dollar bail out wouldnt be needed because in a free market some win and some loose. When you cant refinance your car, or get a car, or get a home, or a loan dont tell me its "just another bust".

The 700 billion dollar bail out plan is the biggest robbery on american people ever. The banks want absolutley no regulations (just listen to bush's speech about it). He states the act "is non-reviewable by any court of law or any administrative agency". He also states (in fancy words no one likes to look up), that the 700 billion dollars isnt a cieling for the amount we the tax payers may have to pay. It could raise to whatever they want.

[QUOTE="jfcundiff"]

[QUOTE="Buddha_basic"]Its def. a joke...and being a resident of the US its more scary than entertaining....Id much rather watch them debate about real issues and stuff that might fly over my head...but thats because i like to know about that stuff.hongkingkong

Well your in luck. First debate is this Friday. The topic they are talking about is foreign policy.

Please....PLEEEEEEEASE - - don't let McCain or Palin say the words: "in the eyes of god" , "god wants us to"

That won't wash well :|

Better than listening to Obama say Uh at the beginning of every sentence.

God has no views on foreign policy like: we should invade if we think the might have something to do with lots of oi- i mean biological weapons. Perhaps it was a little late to get in there before the genocide? 10 years ago, they could have finished the job, but it was better to let them rebuild so they could take the oil later.

God has nothing to do with this, if he did it'd be a sorry God.

Well of course any smart person would understand "God" doesnt make the decisinos around here (for obvious reasons). But "god" haveing nothing to do with this? Bush threw the word god around his agenda so much it made god dizzy..and god doesnt dizzy easyily.
