I own both consoles, but the Ps3 is so much better because the online play is much better. Its free and their is no lags or no freezing etc. the worst part i had to waste 100 bucks on a wireless adapter. As soon as my gold expires im trading in the 360 for ps3 games. ps3 is free and it works better. no freezing no lags or no problems at all. Best part the games are better! explain this to me xbox fanboys! jazuzu13
Maybe now it will catch up to second place! Man those Black Friday deals are getting better and better;)
I've met that kid on XBOX Live. Bread_or_Decide
Yeah, I met him on PSN too. But he was strangely silent...
Before everyone starts 'flaming' or saying 'not another one of these topics,' please hear me out.Â

-I am on a tight budget, and can only buy one system, and one system only for a very long time (if not indefinitely).Â
-Tight budget, so price of hardware and games plays a big factor.
-My choices are Wii or PS3, I am not interested in 360 at all.
-I have an HDTV, and would like to have a blue-ray player.Â
-I love RPGs, but have become accustomed to casual play as well. Â
-I consider myself a Final Fantasy fanboy.
-I like Mario, but not particularly interested.
-Not too interested in FPS, nor "party games."
-I would like to get my wife into gaming as well, and think that the Wii may be a great possibility.

I know different consoles are more 'fit' for certain players than others. So, based upon my situation and preferences, which would you guys pick if you were under my situation. I have no experience with these consoles other than playing Wii sports for 5 minutes, and thoroughly enjoying it (even for that 5 mintues). Thank you for hearing me out.

I think the PS3 is your best bet based on your criteria(you have an HD TV, Final Fantasy fanboy etc...). You will be dissapointed in the Wii especially as new games get more advanced and the Wii graphics stay stuck in the late ninties. If you had kids then I might recommend Wii, but your wife will probably have just as much fun with the PS3 as you(Eyetoy games, LBP etc.).

[QUOTE="BudsMcGreen"][QUOTE="yoshi_64"]We had CoD1, COD2, CoD3 and CoD4 MW and now WaW is pretty much CoD 5.....Episode_Eve
I used to have the same argument all the time. It seems to me that the COD series breaks off with subtitles and then resumes again where the last numerical title left off. IMO it isn't Call of Duty 5 until Infinity Ward makes it so...
Yeah, I guess this is the interchanging trend Activision wants to pursue. But you know WaW was the first CoD with a sub-title. 3 was made by Treyarch.Wait, what about The Big Red One? Wasn't that a COD game?
they're not going to play Online COD 5 and stick to COD 4's online. Is this true? Whats the deal with this?Mudcake_Mad
Some people are turned off by 6O year old weapon selection. Some people are still getting used to COD 4's controls so they will probably wait until it becomes stale to them before switching games..
[QUOTE="stereointegrity"]why do people call it Call of duty 5..... its not Call of duty 5 jeezeyoshi_64We had CoD1, COD2, CoD3 and CoD4 MW and now WaW is pretty much CoD 5.....
