Yeah the price is kinda strange. Like when I first heard of the rumors of the PSP Go and how it wouldn't have the UMD drive I thoughtthat was because they were looking for a way to lower the price of the PSP. I honestly don't know why a person would buy a PSP Go for that price when they can just buy one of the other models for cheaper plus with a bigger screen thengo out and buy a Memory stick if they are interested in downloading games from the PSN.
This game went from awesome to fail. Why should I give more money after shelling $60 for this game? Makes no sense.

Well thats just the way MMO's generally work. The games servers cost lots of money to run so having a monthly fee keeps them up and running plus your money will likely also go towards improvements such as new content they add too the game later.
Why the hell should I pay more money after just trying to buy the game for $59.99 plus tax? I don't like paying for games I already bought. Is there an offline portion of the game?
Well like I said the servers cost a lot of money for the game developer to run so natually they are gonna have a monthly fee to keep them running. As for wheather FFXIV will have an offline mode or not I can't say for sure but I'd guess no cause FFXI didn't so I'd expect the same for FFXIV.

And your point is? LOL Come on, you lemmings can damage control better than this... can't you? I remember when lemmings were bashing cows for having to pay subscription fees and buy a hard drive to play FFXI on the PS2. If you have a core 360, not only would you have to buy a hard drive and pay a subscription fee to play FFXI, but you'd ALSO have to pay $50 a year for live. And this is all for a last gen game. NOW lemmings are trying to damage control FFXIV and downplay it by rubbing in subscription fees even though PSN is free and harddrives are standard? FAIL
As someone said earlier the bolded is not true. You can play FFXI online using a Xbox Live silver account(free).
