Never a good idea. They did it in GT4 with a photo system instead of online and their doing it know. Polyphony is putting in better graphics instead of new physics, damage modeling, custimuzation, and online.Oemenia
its your own preference really, theres nothing wrong with wanting better graphics over gameplay features and imagine GT 5 will probably have some new stuff that GT 4 didnt, see i can be reasonable when people dont irritate me.
What I meant is that, with the exception of online, none of that stuff will be in GT5. Their running on ancient physics, no damaging, and zero customization. So basically its still the same good looking bumper cars that GT4 was.
You actually know what they're putting in GT5? If you don't mind me asking... How?
The graphics are horrendously bad, honestly, it looks worse than puke, but stop your ignorance as well. Forza physics are so complex they said that the original XBOX wouldnt even dream of handling them. They spent a year and half on just that part of the game. In terms of realism, this game will kill anything just like Forza 1 did.Because they spent so much time on that, they didnt have have means to make the graphics great either. Yes they have limited damage, but its gone through HUGE improvements. Importantly, the damage is really there to force people to drive clean and with these lifelike physics, using the side of another car meant 100% failure in getting round the turn right.
Yes, the physics are really impressive but alot of people are forgetting that the polish is the very LAST thing TURN 10 does. I was reading in the 1up preview and they said that they want to get all the gameplay assests inside and out perfected, then the very last thing will be the polish ( txures, lighting etc) but it still looks great now so I cant wait to see the final build.
A week or two from going gold isnt going to change anything. Right now, PGR 2 and Forza 1 beat it.
Sure Forza 2 might not be the best looking racer out there but saying PGR2 and Forza 1 beat it is just a bit much don't you think? Thats pretty laughable honestly.
I dont remember them being so jaggy:PYes because we all know jaggies just completely ruin a game... /sarcasim
