@alexander_mark: I'm on a workplace laptop right now. Should I wait until I get home to look up "futanari"? From the context I can guess what it means but googling is just too fun.
@jayskoon93: See that bright yellow thing in the sky? We call it the sun. If not, give it 3-12 hours and you will almost certainly see it. Then find a computer, laptop or cellphone or ipad or ipod, type Mass Effect Andromeda into any search engine and voila!
The lack of melee options is definitely an odd choice but maybe it works in the game's favor in terms of characterization? Being good with a bow seems like something you might pick up naturally while being good with swords seems like something that would have to be taught (outside of anime but then again those guys/gals are swinging full sized swords one handed so...).
@duckofdeath: Come now, even die hard fans of the original trilogy can admit that Revenge of the Sith was the least deformed of the abortion that was the prequel trilogy. That fight scene between Anakin and Obi-wan at the end alone is enough to put ROTS a good foot or so above the steaming pile of crap that was the first two. I particularly hated The Phantom Menace because I was able to recognize how crappy it was in the sixth grade, a time when I used the word "african-american" to make my black history month essays longer.
@norde: I appreciate the thoughtful response. I had fun with the beta (even though I lost more matches against the ai then I care to admit) but was really looking forward to them fleshing out this samurai world that just so happens to include vikings and knights. Yep, samurai rule, vikings drool and knights are tools.
@norde: Which is why I said, "I wasn't expecting a hundred hour campaign but I was hoping they put some thought into it." And games like Gears of War and Halo are all about pvp but still managed to have good campaigns. Those are the games I'll be comparing For Honor to when more reviews starting coming. Assuming you've played or are playing the game, does it become less of a tutorial after the first stage?
@akassassin11: “It’s a full story campaign, a cinematic adventure where you will play as the knights first as the Warden, then you play as the Raider, then you play as the Orochi,” creative director Jason VandenBerghe told Gamespot.
At this point, I can only blame myself for clicking on this even though I know that the worthwhile reviews won't be released until next week at the earliest. Bad Caduceus89, bad!
@kargion: I read the part where they assured us the single player campaign would be good and not something they tacked on to get more people to buy the game. I wasn't expecting a hundred hour campaign but I was hoping they put some thought into it.
"Rather than feel like a full-on single-player experience, For Honor's story mode comes across more like a tutorial for multiplayer." So much worse than I was expecting.
