Open your damn eyes. Tomb Raider, that 360 Uncharted clone from a Polish studio, Resident Evil 7. It doesn't even have to be a 3rd person shooter or a PS3-only game. It's any game that plays like a movie. Take a look at RYSE.

Uncharted ISN'T a good franchise.

Thanks to the PS3's weaksauce architecture, SONY's first party studios were relegated to making linear interactive movies like Uncharted and Heavy Rain. Linear games tend to have lower development budget than open-world games, but they were never really popular before the PS3 came out. Only after the rabid SONY fanboys decided to take a whiff of SONY's cock did linear games like Dude Raider become high-sellers.

Now, we have a Tomb Raider reboot, which is nothing but a shameless Uncharted clone. We have Resident Evil devs saying that they want to make their games like Tomb Raider. It's saddening how everyone wants to make interactive movies now. They [ay no attention to gameplay and mechanics. Is there any point in gaming anymore? SONY has ruined our hobby. This is 10x worse than what Microsoft did with DRM.

More on-rails horsecrap from Naughty Dog. They should stick to games that have very open combat like The Last of Us.
