2) So people that don't like the idea of VR should give it a chance rather than assuming everyone else is an idiot, but people that do like the idea of VR are allowed to assume everyone else is an idiot?
3) Some people have tried the recent VR headsets and still have no interest. I've tried the Rift, and if that ever becomes a required way to play games I will never play a new game, because it's just not an experience I enjoyed or think really benefits the game. Obviously my opinion isn't shared by everyone, so I hope it's successful enough to stick around for those that like it, just not successful enough where that's our only option in the future.
@Moonco: And in April 2015 it wasn't. But by 2017? Yeah, it probably will be a "now" thing. How is a company adapting to the current market a bad thing?
@evocatorum: As opposed to all the updates for PS4 that weren't required? Oh wait, that's not a thing.
And Microsoft "pressures" you to buy their subscription just as much as Sony does. Quit saying something is unacceptable for company A while saying the same thing is acceptable for company B. Makes you look immature.
@haze0986: Sony never said that because Sony hasn't officially acknowledged the Neo even exists. Leaked documents say that Sony said that, but because they're leaked we can't trust them until after the official reveal (or lack thereof) confirms that they are either accurate or inaccurate.
@hotwog21: You're wrong. Developers DO have to approve bringing the games over as Microsoft doesn't own the rights to them. And to answer your question, a lot of developers don't want their games played via backwards compatibility because it means that they can't remaster and re-sell the game.
As for being one of the gamers that made a fuss about the original plan, thanks a lot for ruining what would have been an outstanding console. Really appreciate it. </sarcasm>
@snugglebear: While I agree with you that VR is a waste (I obviously haven't tried PSVR, but I've tried a few others and so far they're all terrible), you're doing the same thing you're saying he's doing; claiming that everyone agrees with you so the other guy must be wrong.
