@WolfGrey @Micropixel Nintendo just didn't care enough to handle it, there's nothing holding them from blocking Germans to 18+ content abiding their local law and having it available for the remaining European markets, it's this simple, there's no regulation in that regard.
@WolfGrey @Micropixel It's simple, they were lazy, since their headquarters is in Germany they just enforced Germany's local laws to the rest of Europe,
as the article explains.
As for WolfGrey question, the answer is no, they didn't have to do it for all Europe, it is in fact pretty stupid, the last thing Germany would want right now would be the notion they control Europe since that's already happening in the political-economical sphere. So to sum up, although I'm not a Nintendo client but being from an European country that is not Germany, shame on you Nintendo..
@bfmv2007 I agree with your hypothesis, the trailers and the names gives us the perfect breaking point between the two, Ground Zero being the arrival on the island and The Phantom Pain is after he loses his arm and falls into a coma. (probably on some boss battle)
I agree with you 100% Tom, even more when you included the title that instantly came to mind that better explains the point you were trying to convey, Uncharted for the Vita is undoubtedly no more than a tech demo attached to a successful franchise, Sony made sure every control option was crammed in to the game just to showcase the control capabilities of the console and apparently forgetting if they were actually useful or engaging in any way, form or shape. If it makes sense to have it in a game so the experience is better, do it, if it's in there just for the sake of being there, then by all means spend your time on something else worth having.
@Daian I'm not really amazed, it was to be expected, people either don't know the difference between an ARM processor and an x86 or they just discard the costs of portability, having an i5 with a 1080p resolution jammed on 10" screen, 2k resolution output and a 3.0 USB port under 2 pounds (900 grams) must be completely normal for them, I just wish they'd tell me where they shop.
