Isn't a play-and-charge kit just a cable?

@valknight @CloWnCircus @daemonproject @jrcast84 How is a simplified and faster architecture irrelevant? If you can do the same amount of work in a shorter period of time, either A - You get games out the door faster, or B - You use the extra time to polish or further enhance your game. How is that irrelevant?

There was no point in what you said since you just invented your own information, besides your personal preferences on the PS4 (bluetooth and swapable HDD's) there was nothing true, only your version of what the hardware is.

@Shantmaster_K Xbox360 was hacked (able to play copies) after 2 weeks. Playstation 3, more than 2 years.

He wasn't talking about networks.

@valknight @daemonproject @jrcast84 You're feeding wrong information.

Playstation decided to have a shared memory pool with all the components, GPU and CPU will use the same GDDR5 8GB pool which has a higher bandwith but higher latencies, Sony solved that potential problem by putting the GPU and CPU on the same die.

Instead, Microsoft went with 8 GB DDR3 RAM and 32MB eSRAM which is really fast but very limited due to its small capacity and requires extra management of the resources (picking what you're going to carry on that small but super fast RAM as opposed to the DDR3 pool).

This is one of the reasons Playstation is using the flag of being easier on the developers.

Playstation 4 has 18 CU (Compute Units) on the GPU, Xbox One has 12 CU.

Another thing you're misinformed is about the management of RAM, Microsoft will use 3GB of the 8 available for the 3 operating systems on the Xbox One, I believe Sony hasn't disclosed their numbers yet regarding their OS.

@robertcain @valium88 @sugrim A 10 should only be merited when a game does perfectly everything it sets out to do, TLOU doesn't do the stealth bits very well due to the bad AI from your companions. Seeing Ellie (or any other companion at any given time in the game) bumping into clickers kinda puts you off. Still, great emotional and cinematic game.

The game is great story-wise, the drama and the connection with the characters are brilliant but I agree with Tom's review, the AI would break immersion due to its own stupidity, it's just too silly to work so hard not being detected and then seeing Tess and Ellie bumping into clickers with nothing happening. 8.0 means great, and that's what the game is, great.
