@Devils-DIVISION @lance2rand It was called WarZ (the game you couldn't remember) and that's why it's a good thing to have some tiny obstacles (quality checks) so we can be assured every game we buy is fail-proof or at least not scamming you. Self-publishing is a great thing though.
I just can't figure out who the f*ck in Microsoft decided, "hummm.. yes.. ads.. people like them, let us state this to the consumers, I'm sure they'll be thrilled by the idea of being able to order some nachos while they reload their weapon"
But.. but.. wasn't it them (gamestop) that were "very excited" with what MS was going to do with the XBO? Now they're cheering for the reversal of those same policies, corporations at their best.
It's amazing how they somehow managed to piss everybody off, first they implement a series of DRM and limits to the console and 80% of the world laughs at their faces, meanwhile the remaining 20% who were defending their console and strategy now feel a bit stupid and insulted. Priceless.
Microsoft never actually managed to explain why the old policies and implementations were for the best, now we know why.
@okassar Why take a step longer than your leg? You don't have affordable hardware capable of powering games at that resolution, therefore it's a much better strategy to release a 1080p display now so you can actually use it at its native resolution and release a new iteration in a few years when the previous point I made is actually viable.
