Knack and Killzone. Knack was hyped by my friends and many other Sony fanboys bragging about their launch exclusives. Many thought it would be Sony's trademark platformer.
Killzone : Shadow Fall was also overhyped as being a Halo Killer, hyping it up that it will have 90+ reviews, when it actually turned out to be only a beautiful game with no substance.
As for Ryse, not so. Nobody hyped that game except for cows.
Ryse - 61 Metacritic
Knack - 56 Metacritic
Metacritic? Now it's okay to use it? Okay I agree
Resogun >>>>>>>>>>>> every Xbone exclusive.
TLHBO
Don't celebrate that as a victory yet.
At least Microsoft's studios beat both Sony's first party studios, Knack/Killzone. What does that say about the quality of Sony studios? Not that I am a fanboy like you because I am getting both consoles. I just see things the way they are.
Let's be honest, nobody hyped Dead Rising 3 or Killer Instinct to get high scores, unlike Killzone and Knack.
Killzone : Shadow Fall - Flop
Knack - Flop
Resogun>>(83)Forza(82)>>>>Dead Rising 3(78)>>Killer Instinct(74)>>> Killzone(73)>>>Ryse(61)>Knack(56)
What's funny now is that cows are now bragging about Resogun, like its their prized jewel, when cows probably haven't even heard of the game at all until it was rated the highest exclusive on metacritic.
Nobody hyped Resogun, and if there were people who hyped it, only a few would have.
Me too, fact: Resogun > Xbone exclusives on metacritic. And imo both console launch games are mediocre at best.
And lol at denying you're a lemming. LMFAO
A lemming that will get both consoles? A lemming that had the PS2 as his childhood console, a lemming that had both the PS3 and Xbox 360? A lemming that likes Final Fantasy, and Cloud Strife?
I have my preferences when it comes to games, features, controllers, and I do try to downplay the graphical disparities on the Xbox One, because this is only launch. Not everything is set in stone during launch. Things will change.
But we all do know that the PS4 is much more powerful than the Xbox One. Everybody knows that. But that doesn't mean that the graphics representing the consoles today will represent the entire console cycle, and that doesn't mean that there will be a huge graphical gap between both consoles. As stated by developers, they said that they are still getting used to the architecture of both consoles to maximize performance.
The graphics and performance advantage has to go to the PS4, but not at a significantly huge gap.
There is no doubt that the PS4 is more powerful, the developers have already stated that. What they are saying that there won't be any long-term noticeable graphics differences.
"I think this is not going to be an issue in six months," one reliable game development source who is not affiliated with Microsoft or Sony told us. "It's just a bumpy time for launch is what it is."
This same source corroborated reports that multiple multiplatform launch games will launch running at a higher resolution on PS4 than Xbox One. Still, they don't expect any major, noticeable graphics differences to be long-term. They attribute this to gradual improvements made to the Xbox One hardware over the past year but more because they expect developers to overcome any headaches they're having developing for the new Xbox as they did with last generation's onerous PS3.
