I guess I should, I read somewhere that the DS4 is actually very similar to the Xbox controller, the only thing that I might not like is the symmetrical sticks.

Yes, the symmetrical placement of the sticks and I find the Dualshock just too small. Not sure with the DS4 though. The DS3 was absolutely terrible for me, it was just too small for my hands and it felt uncomfortable. Sony actually considered placing the sticks at the same position of the Xbox controllers because they thought that it would be the best setup for shooters.

But I believe it all boils down to personal preference. I've never touched the DS4, and I've been gaming with an Xbox Controller since 2006, so naturally I'd prefer the Xbox controller over the PS controller.

The touchpad features have not even been used that much in the games for PS4 as of now. A I don't believe that a touchpad is required, just an extra.

The touchpad is supposed to act like a start button. Maybe a third party controller can just put a start button, then use the sticks in order to move the cursor around. Or they can just implement a touchpad on an Xbox One controller.

But if they do make an Xbox One controller for PS4, that is when I will buy it.

Yes. The controller has a huge factor in my decision.

I don't like the PS controller. I prefer the Xbox controller, the same as many PC gamers prefer it.

When I get my PS4, I'm going to look for a third-party Xbox One controller that will be compatible with the PS4. I'll only get the PS4 when that comes out.
