Not everyone can afford a decent gaming PC. People buy consoles for affordability, and the exclusives of course.

Dude. Shut up already. Quit living in the past, we are talking about NOW. The PS4 and Xbox One. Not the PS3 and Xbox 360.
I had my Xbox 360 repaired after 2008 and I've never had problems since. My PS3 also broke on me too with the YLOD in 2009 and I had it fixed, I have not had problems with it ever since.
I don't believe Microsoft would be willing to commit the same mistake again, the RROD fiasco cost them a billion dollars. That would be incredibly stupid.
Sure, there might be faulty and defective consoles, as is expected with both the PS4 and Xbox One. But I find it funny how in the other thread you were downplaying how big the possible numbers could be when it comes to failure rates for the PS4, and trying to say that the Xbox One will fail instead. You clearly are trying to make a case that the Xbox One will have another RROD problem even though there has not been a single report of the console failing.
You are clearly a fanboy. Also, btw, I'm buying both the PS4 and Xbox One, but I choose not to be biased and ignorant to the issues the PS4 is facing right now. I do prefer the games on Xbox One, but that is just a matter of taste, we all have personal taste. Expect me to argue with people about the issues of the Xbox One in the coming days if there are any. I won't be defending the Xbox if it has issues, just like I'm not defending the PS4 because it has issues.
But I believe there is no reasoning with you, as you are clearly in way over your head.
Yes. I do agree. Contrary to what most people believe. The vast majority of people who play video games aren't forum posters, or regular commenters on video game articles. Most casual gamers/people don't really care to read much about video games online. It's funny how people assume that if most people agree with your opinion online, then it must be true for the majority of people. Never has an assumption been so wrong.
People were bashing the Wii for being a kiddie console, but the casuals decided it to be the best selling video game console last-gen. Selling 100 million units. You would think that that wouldn't be so because a majority of forum posters online hate casual/kiddie gaming. Casuals will decide which console will sell the most, not hardcore gamers.
The price does have a lot to do with what console people will purchase, there is no denying that.
The Wii U's sales aren't really doing well though, maybe because the last generation hasn't really died off yet, and most people can't really find much of a reason to switch now to the next-generation. But I believe that will change come Christmas, as it only costs $300, and most parents will find that as a great present to their children.
As for me, I'm buying both the PS4 and Xbox One. I will never buy the Wii U. Never been a fan of the Wii.
Keep getting butthurt. It is really satisfying, I can really sense you want the game. Too bad you can't have it on the PS4.
As for me, I'm buying both consoles so I've got nothing to worry about.
Also, why the hell would anybody in their right mind pre-order Titanfall without having the Xbox One yet? People need to see if their will be issues with the console first before ever thinking of doing such a thing, aside from the fact that the console has not even launched yet(where most likely a majority of pre-orders will take place), the release date is still 4 months away.
No reason to pre-order this early.
Typical Sony Fanboy. The reason why people are bashing the PS4 right now though is because of people like you, during the past months Sony fanboys have really been very obnoxious.
Titanfall has been hyped up by tons of people. You can't deny it unless you are blinded by your fanboyism.
The Xbox One hasn't launched anywhere in the world. Move along folks, just a desperate PS Fanboy trolling because their launch titles Knack and Killzone have flopped.
