I use ATi and have been for a while. I've always found them to be more cost-effiecient for what you get, because they tend to wait longer to release their cards and release them after Nvidia does. I'm glad these are out, but I'm still gonna be holding of on DX10/Vista for a while yet. The only game I even have that uses Dx10 is Company of Heroes, and I'd rather have better performance+good graphics then sucky performance+slightly better graphics.
I think an article like this is an excellent idea. Its all stuff I already knew, but questions I am so tired of answering. Besides, anything that makes computer gaming (which is pretty difficult for newcomers) more accessible, is a good thing.
