Maybe they will leave this open if I promise now to make another thread till level 10. I was getting some good opinions.Both. I enjoy playing lengthy SP games (Fallout 3 + New Vegas/KH 1+2/GTA/RDR/ and so on) just as much as MP games ( Killzone 2, Uncharted 2+3[mostly 3 now], Fifa 12[this one is a mix between SP and MP], Resistance 3, and so on).
All that I care is that the game is good and fun, be it SP only or MP only game :)
EDIT: Oh level 1 user.. such a shame, this thread will likely be closed :S You need to a level 10 to post here buddy....

I was thinking of keeping it local because isn't silver gun imported or am I thinking of another game? Sorry tired. Megaman 8 objectively has the best gameplay balance, variety, difficulty curves, and a few other things in the series. he voice acting isn't even that bad either. Most people at the time probably rated against mostly for the FMV and maybe some changes to the formula, because remember, change is bad, that's why none of those same people are complaining about FPS saturati- oh wait... While I do not think it's the best in the series, it's better than at least all the ones before it by number, (Except maybe Megaman 3 which also added some changes to the formula people don't like. Then they changed it and didn't go back that way with 4 and so on.) I wouldn't reccomend X4 for the Saturn. Anyway enough of ranting for now.Best shoot-em ups I've played for Saturn:

Area 51Panzer DragoonPanzer Dragoon: ZweiVirtua Cop 1 & 2Do Mega Man games count here, too? Because Mega Man 8 (I don't understand the flack it gets) & Mega Man X4 are great, but are also available on PS1.
I haven't played the original House of the Dead. I like the other games in the series, though.

I dont think it will be enough.
They've been enough for every single Nintendo console. When did this happen? the GC was the only time where third-parties or sucess of the last system didn't transfer over and all they had to go with was first-party support to gain any traction and look where that ended up.[QUOTE="turtlethetaffer"]

Don't worry, he'll return with a new nick :P
I probably like Bomberman 2 on the NES best from what I've played.

I know but a guy can dream can't he? guy was a massive dick.
Already got him again huh? Good riddance.
On topic, I absolutely loved Bomberman 64. Spent hours playing MP with my broher growing up, and the numerous collectibles combine with the fun levels and bosses made the whole game a worthwhile experience.
After that it would either be Bomerman Tourney, or Bomberman Hero. Didn't Hudson go under? I coulda sworn they did. Does that mean no more Bomberman games?
Absorbed, not gone under. Parent company owns the IP, Hudson decided now to dissovle all its IPs so there MAY BE more Bomeberman games. but the last few were not really "games" IMO and would like things to go back to Neo/Saturn and Tournament type adventure gameplay.A lot of games use that formula. I am also amazed you think Thunder Force 2 is good, but you haven't played 3 yet those I hold my case. For the walls, there are 3 ways. You either shoot randomly at separate areas to destory them, or get a power up that breaks them, or explode and enemy which goes through and hits the wall. The 4th way is insane, but at a lot more game time for you to immerse yourself, but I think you should start really playing before I tell you that. Uh, that's it I guess.Emerald_Warrior
So I just got this game in the mail today, and I went to test it and dang! What a fan-freaking-tastic game! I was pleasantly surprised. The only Thunder Force game I had played previous was a demo of Thunder Force V on PS1 (which was fun as hell, and HIGH on my wantlist). I was expecting the same side-scrolling shoot-em up formula (albeit with some twists here and there) that Thunder Force V had. Instead I find a free-roaming shoot-em up. What an awesome concept! Why don't other games use this formula? The soundtrack sounds nice, at least so far it does. It doesn't sound "tingy" or use the same sounds as a lot of the Genesis games do. And it's dirt cheap to boot!
I can tell this gonna be one of my favorites. I only played it for a few minutes, but I'm sure I'll have a blast when I actually set aside some time for some real gaming time.
My only question about it is: What's with those stupid walls? How do you get past them? The only thing I could figure was to just run through it and sacrifice a ship in the process, but I know that can't be right. What am I supposed to do to get past them?
