Agreed, another one would rock! With the new lighting effects, high res textures, multi cpu/gpu - you could have a lot of good looking aliens on screen...

and how that works in games is they implement 'threads' which pretty much designates data to core 0 or core 1.

Thats not my area though. You should try googling for more information, you can find layouts of different core architecture and stuff.

No thats not combined 3.2. 1.6GHz is a SPEED. that's like saying there's 2 cars each going at 200Km/h and then saying 200+200=400Km/hDarkRecruit

This is a good example. Another is, think of Trucks pulling trailers. If two trucks are going, lets say 16 mph, pulling the same trailer, they are more effeicently pulling the trailer and its combined weight, but both are still only going 16mph.

you do not combine the cores. its all done in cycles, even if there are two, they are still only working at 16 billion cycles a second, but syncronized to be more effeicent (especially with large amounts of data)

[QUOTE="Fach5at"]yeah i know but from the looks of it dnt u think we should get a really good VGA ??Grantelicious

We've moved onto HDMI now.

And DisplayPort is on the way now...

I think Fach5at is asking what video card they would need to run the game. and, as it has already been posted, who knows, its still in development.

Yeah, I would go with the Toshiba as well.

Ive heard some bad things, but I know two toshiba users and they had no issues, one needed a HD replacement (user clogged the fans) and it was quick and painless via the warrenty.

[QUOTE="mo0ksi"]I'm relaxed, but I just don't like the fact that it was August 27th, then Sept 5th, now the 30th. They could at least give us some official system requirements.lokstah

Sure that's a bummer, but come on. Midway is a big developer/publisher, and the troubling trend with the big houses for years now has been the opposite problem: pushing games into the marketplace prematurely to satisfy business schedules. That's BS, if BS is what you're concerned about.

And it goes for information, too. You suggest that simply releasing system requirements might make it easier on fans... but wouldn't you rather it be accurate information?

Arguments like these make me wonder if the gaming world would be better if gamers didn't have access to any of this information--if every game that was released was a total surpise. Instead, we've got guys like you who (no offense) encourage publishers to prioritize schedules over production.

agreed.
Actually, I think these developers should be like the music and movie industries(not the invasion of privacy,DRM way), in that they dont open unfinished/developing games and information to the public.

something ive noticed is that some people hear 'fps' and run & gun through the game, a game that strives to be unique.

I enjoyed it so far. Im taking my time, exploring areas and different tactics. There are quite a bit of variety and places you have to go back to to unlock(rooms and whatnot).

But I do agree with some of you, it doesnt quite live up to the hype.....
