[QUOTE="Cow4ever"]

[QUOTE="gaming25"] It is Palestinian occupied territory if I am not mistaken.gaming25

Never in history has that territory ever been controlled in any way by any kind of Palestinian Arab entity.

To correct what I had earlier said, The West Bank and Gaza are Palestinian territories that are occupied by Israel. Israel has settlements in these areas so creating settlements there (which would be transfering) is in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

What makes those territories Palestinian? Cause as I said It has never been under the sovereignty of any Palestinian entity ever. How is creating settlements a transfer? Are you saying when you are moving to another house you are "transferring" there? No, being transferred is being assigned to move. In this case to prevent Israel from forcibly move their Arab population to the territories.

[QUOTE="gaming25"][QUOTE="Cow4ever"][QUOTE="Darkman2007"] How about a just a tiny resolution now? Cause they make one for everything Israel does. And sure US gives money nowadays but how have they cared every time Israel has been attacked? ONly i[QUOTE="gaming25"][QUOTE="Cow4ever"][QUOTE="Darkman2007"]

sure, though it won't mean a huge deal on the ground.

honestly, it gives the Palestinians as much responsibility as it gives them legitimacy.

right now, if rockets fly from Gaza into Israel (which they do quite often) Palestinians can claim a whole bunch of things to avoid direct conflict, and can practically get away with it.

once they are a legitimate state and UN member , if rockets fly into Israel , its game over, as its an attack on another UN member state (it really doesn't matter if its government funded or not, if its an attack , its an attack, and a state has to police its borders).

though frankly the UN means nothing on the ground so for the short term its just a piece of paper.

ehm if you look at the history you know that in no way does attacking Israel means Game Over because of the UN status. Countries can attack Israel, terrorists can attack Israel but nobody cares. Like it's been for the past 2000 years. The only one who can make Game Over to Israel's enemies is Israel.

America seems to care a lot. Also, what would you want the UN to do about attacks? They dont have the grounds to start a war, that would also be counter productive.

How about a little resolution now and then? Cause they make one against Israel for the smallest things. And US, sure gives money nowadays, but how did they care all the times Israel was attacked? Only in the gulf war did they send patriot missile batteries.

I agree with you TC and ignore the haters. Many fans of a game like Demon's Souls have to flex the peen, just because of its difficulty. It makes them feel better about themselves apparently. I personally didn't like it because it was boring, graphics were mediocre, non-existent storyline, even the overall feel of the game just felt sloppy. If they focused more on an enjoyable but challenging experience instead of one-hit kill bosses and cheap traps that force you to start over, more people would like DS.

I find many other games much harder. What appeal to me certainly wasn't the difficulty. The story line isn't non existent it's just more subtly told than what we're used to. You have to listen to what people say and read about weapons and items etc. It's a great way to tell a story.

[QUOTE="silentnightmere"]Lol. It makes you feel accomplished when you actually beat the level. The environments don't really look the same either. How far did you get ? 1-2 ? GeneralShowzer

Not very far. You're right, I haven't seen the entire game.

But from what I played, and I've seen some playtroughs and trailers it all looked pretty much the same. You're right though guess I haven't seen it all to be the judge on that.

As for the accomplishment It didn't to it for me, even after I beat some levels.

If that's the case every game can become an epic daring masterpiece, if they took away autosaves and make enemies hit hard.

There is really no motivation to keep going, given how the game is presented either.

Maybe you should stick to the easy 360 games.

PinkieWinkie

Whatever you say. When I want to challenge myself I will replay some really rewarding and complex games, like X3: Terrain Conflict and the Paradox Grand Strategies. When I want to test out my reflexes and competetive side I will go back and play CS:S

Guess I should let the real gamers handle this...

Europa Universalis and similar are complex in a whole different way than Demon's Souls. Demon's Souls isn't complex per se but it's different that you can't hack and slash through a level. And the levels does not look the same at all. They have in common that they are dark and lonely but besides that it's very varied. Also there is permanent check points on every level. In the end having to start over is great. You have to perfect your strategies unlike a common fps where you can sleep your way through since you can always start exactly where you died.
