As an Israeli who believes in peace, I'd say that, as long as they are entirely serious about the peace talks and Hamas loses all power within Palestine, then why the hell not.
Good luck with that. Abbas won't even recognize a Jewish state. That shows how serious they are. Oh boy, here comes those semantics again. Abbas would probably accept an Israeli state, but not a "Jewish state" because that would undermine the refugee problem. Netanyahu was trying to pull a fast one and you know it. On the other hand, why is Israel so antagonistic toward a "Palestinian state." So it's ok not to recognize a Jewish state but wrong with a Palestinian state? The whole basis of the 2 state solution is a Jewish and a Palestinian state. An Israeli state might as well be an arab state with the name Israel and vice verca. But the fact is Israel have said they are willing to recognize a Palestinian state established through negotiations but Abbas refuses to recognize a Jewish state.
