Capitalism is destroying itself and I'm eagerly anticipating it's complete downfall. Maybe then we can get back to working for the greater good of all citizens, not only the rich ones.BrianB0422lol I hope you enjoy having a shortage of toilet paper and a surplus of spatulas.

I just saw the Crysis 1 trailer for the consoles and it's really impressive. Looks way better than Crysis 2, and in my opinion, better than Rage, which has a more stylized cartoonish look. What do you think? ChiefFreemanDefinitely none of these.

Yeah well that's the thing about the game is that you have to die to learn an enemy. But actually I think alot of enemies made unpredictable moves, like the skeletons for example. And alot of the times even if you know the enemy attack pattern there is often a swarm of enemies around. Like with the BEK there are also often swordsmen and archers around as well. And with the moon grass I agree alot of time you had a big surplus but 1 second is alot in demon's souls and some enemies kills you with one hit so it hardly helps. Anyway most people agree the game is the hardest in the beginning before you've learned it.[QUOTE="Cow4ever"][QUOTE="Maroxad"]
I had no difficulties with Demons Souls at all, once you learnt an enemy's attack pattern (didnt take very long) the enemies had a really difficult time hitting you. Not to mention that if they actually do hit you you can just eat up grass which takes like 1 second or so (no cooldown) to get back to full health.
I would argue Dragon Age: Origins was harder on higher difficulty settings... until I started using Cone of Cold.

- I learned enemy movements shortly after first encountering them (sometimes during my first encounter with them). I didnt need to die to learn enemy attack and movement patterns. Heck, I beat 8 bosses in a row without dying once on my first playthrough.
- Just roll back twice, the enemy will never have enough time to hit you if you do that.
- Which enemies kill you in a single hit?
- The learning curve in Demons Souls was very smooth. Which is a good thing.
But you're wrong the rolling skeletons could easily hit you even if you rolled back twice and in the swamp there was alot of times you couldn't roll for example.
For example the dual katana wielding skeleton.
95%
That's not a show I mean AT LEAST 95% of TV shows.
It's garbage just like almost everything else post 1900
It's relatively hard. Definitely if you compare with Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls etc.[QUOTE="Cow4ever"][QUOTE="Maroxad"]
I disagree with RPG elements and being hard (I though Demons Souls was very easy). But otherwise I agree with your post.
Herer are some other things,
Encounter design, atmosphere, boss/enemy design, story (Bioware does storytelling well but their stories are uninspired and cliche), and pacing.

I wouldn't jump the gun. Demon's Souls is a good game, but From doesn't nearly have as much experience in making rpgs as Bethesda and Bioware. We're not even sure if Dark Souls will live up to the success of Demon's Souls. They may very well end up being one of those 'one hit wonder' devs

Combat is way better than ES and DA, that alone puts them above Bioware and Bethesda, don't get me started on level design, RPG elements and new features.
And from the look of it, Dark Souls is following the successful path of Demon's Souls which is great combat mechanics, dark fantasy setting, being hard with superb RPG elements.
