This is terrible for people overseas or in areas with no connections available... wouldn't be surprised if PS4 had similar stances but have not mentioned anything yet. E3 is going to be both exciting and infuriating for a lot of people.
@Fryboy101 Agreed, people this generation don't understand the word patience. Everything is too instant with all this technology and the kids today have grown spoiled.
Got a few answers here, but still, they are very dodgy. I'm really curious about the big xbox360 announcement though... perhaps it connects with the Xbox One in some form? Wonder what it could be.
Either way, pretty exhausted from all these articles. We all might as well move on and wait until E3 - there is no reason to get bothered about anything at this point.
Leading officials said last year they understand consumers don't want to pay those high prices anymore for new consoles. I'm REALLY glad they stuck with that fact. This is really good news.
@malkavain4 I agree, which is why I can't believe it would be true. I just think they don't want people to know they can do whatever disconnected because their partners can't make money if you are. They just dont want anyone to only use it for bluray and single player games because they will lose money.
Microsoft knows better than to alienate all those people serving, and all those who play in internetless conditions. They just don't want people thinking "barebones".
