Rygar was one of the first NES games I owned, and I loved it! I never actually beat it, though . . . :(

I agree with what other people here have said about the marketing (or lack thereof) for this game. It doesn't matter how much money you dump into your projects, developers! If your publisher doesn't market your game with magazine ads and TV spots, it's not going to sell.

Personally, I've always been interested in this title and plan on buying it ASAP.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a healthy selection of garbage games on every system ever made? I don't think the DS is unique in this respect.

After the VC versions of these games, I doubt Nintendo will release them again this generation . . . especially since all those games were released to the GBA and are still compatible with about 50% of the DSs out there.

Resident Evil 4 has a pretty awesome intro, from Leon's opening RE lore monologue through the first battle in the village. Good stuff.

I don't remember the exact price anymore, but I purchased the DC fishing rod controller bundled with Sega Marine Fishing for $20 or $30. Both were brand-new.

I don't know about "for laughs," but I have purchased a number ofNES games that I knew weren't especially good, but I had fond memories of anyway (Kung Fu, TMNT and Spyhunter, to name a few)
