Steam Store Page

Or get a stand alone copy from Desura which you can easily log into with Steam... anyway it's standalone. No 3rd party software needed to play it. Just to buy it through the Desura option, and you will have to return to check for updates.

This game is now officially out! But don't worry the Dev's aren't just leaving it.

Player count has jumped dramatically, from 1-2 official servers with 5-20 players at any time to 15+? official servers, Co-op and PvP, with many heavily occupied now. See you on the field.

Highlighted moments from real Public Online Co-op (Invasion Mode) anywhere from 5-50+ players working together against surprisingly tough and agile AI. A wide assortment of players, Steam friends and random strangers alike.

Here are some gameplay screen shots. All from Online Co-op (Invasion) games recently played. And any soldiers with a color marker under them is a real player.

As there appears to be little info here at Gamespot I will try to return and add more pics and info. RWR is currently on Steam, as of 10-28-14 still technically in Early Access for 10$. And it has only gotten better since the original Indie Hour video. Check out this hidden gem, it may amaze you!

For those looking for more information, or some details about the game I have created a beginner's guide for the newly growing Steam Community to help go over some key points of Co-op/Invasion game mode. It also covers certain important points of the game in general.

Here is a link to the Guide.

Yeah finally! It's on Steam, and has added a lot since highlighted on Indie Hour here on Gamespot over a year ago. Still an amazing little game and a STEAL for 10$!!!

I have to admit feel like I am missing something...I own the airfield, have done many missions, mostly air, and frequently receive text stating that I have earned $26,000+. Yet my account shows no such deposit. And the reason I am posting here is because I have been watching my income and just received the same text and see no sign of it. My wallet did not jump from $60k+ to $80K+ I have check the phone, the net, an atm (all in game)... but no sign of it in bank account or wallet. Are we sure we're not supposed to pick it up somewhere? All other forms of income work: missions, odd jobs, random pick ups. But this is the only property I own at the moment. And I swear it really seems like I am not receiving the income. Like I said, I feel like I am missing something...

Okay, so free to play. But does that mean that it is Pay to Win? aka microtransactions? Which generally ends up favoring people that just drop tons of money on virtual crap to win? I understand the business model. But it rarely seems to work for anyone not droppng cash constantly.

This is a great game. Try the demo, and chances are if you enjoy a good tactical game beyond only playing FPS's you'll fall for this game too. And being able to buy it for 8$ (at least as of 4/3/13) feels like a great deal. I am happy to help fund this. And chances are I'll make an effort to donate to this game. I have been searching for something like this for years!

Wonderful combo of RTS's game feel with FPS/3rdPS style game play.

Thanks again for your work guy/s.

And when it is on it saves MANY times! I think in each actual mission it will always save the last 3 turns (each it's own save) as you progress through the mission. Then it seems to save those and make more new saves for each mission. I recently went through my files to clear some space and found what seems to be well over a hundred saves, if not more. Plus I think when you are at your base it auto-saves everytime you go to the main control room to look at the halo-globe, plus everytime you advance time by scanning the globe. Seriously, I have NEVER seen a game create so many autosave files; thankfully they are very very small files, measured in kb. I only use 1 file as my purposeful save and I am certain that the the countless others are all auto saves. So it's there, and functioning more than we realize.
