Yes, unless you turn up all the graphics settings and play it on a 30'+ screen :D

Higher only if you're planning to play your games on 30'+ monitors at native resolution or with AA/AF etc, all turned up to the max. If you're just playing on 1280x1024, even 128-256mb would suffice.

You can actually, just call them up and tell them your motherboard spoilt due to power surge or something like that and just be prepared to give lots of details and time. :D
